I read a tweet last week from covers.com that said the unders were hitting 70% of the time when two teams play each other that both played the night before.  Since then, I have played every game in this situation and have gone 7-3 (70%).

Wed 2/15:

Spurs/Raptors under 186 113-106 LOSS

Kings/Knicks under 200 100-85 WIN

Thunder/Rockets under 201 96-95 WIN

Suns/Hawks under 186 101-99 LOSS

Thurs 2/16:

Nets/Pacers under 195 93-88 WIN

Sat 2/18:

Warriors/Grizzlies under 196 104-103 LOSS

Mon 2/20:

Nets/Knicks under 196 100-92 WIN

Celtics/Mavs under 177 89-73 WIN

Magic/Bucks under 187 93-90 WIN

Wolves/Nuggets under 210 103-101 WIN

 

Tonight's system play will be Spurs/Blazers under.  I will post the number I get when I make the play.

I like this.  192.5 for the Spurs game tonight sounds like a lot.  Which one of these teams is going to score 100?  And the other is going to score 93?  Come on.

Interesting how that tweet comes out and then you play the first game in that situation and it goes 50 points over

If you read my first post, that was not the first game I played in that situation.  That was just the first play that I posted.  I played 10 games before that one and went 7-3.

Is it possible that ALL unders were coming at a greater rate in the first half and now teams are coming into their roles/players and the bookmakers also read that tweet and are making totals reflect the way teams are forced to play in this shortened season?

The Lakers/Thunder under is at 195 now, but it looks like it could go up so I'll wait to see if I can get a better number before making a play on it.

Case in point was Spurs @ Blazers on Tues. Both back to back but total was 188 so it was not a play. Final score 137-97
