#4 Posted: 2/1/2005 1:05:06 AM I was watching too. Pathetic to see $50 go down the drain in a game where the Knicks basically should have won. |

#13 Posted: 2/1/2005 1:48:27 AM Do you remember what nightmares are like? When Marbury claimed to be the best pointguard in the NBA he moved into a nightmare. He is still there. He did not voluntarily let Jaric steal those balls. He CANN*T stop it. Pity him and bet against the Knicks. GL |

#14 Posted: 2/1/2005 2:13:18 AM Clipps up 2 w/25 seconds left, miss but get the o-board,hit one ft, then Marbury misses a layup, clippjoint hit 2 more ft's and then Crawford chucks up some garbage double pump 3 pointer that didn't even land 10 feet of the basket, clippjoint hit 2 more ft's to go up 7 and then to top it off 7'1'' Nazir Mohammed throws up a 3 while the Clippers were conceeding a layup!!!!!!
18 O-boards given up!!!
I live in NY and let me tell you they are the biggest pieces of garbage in the NBA, no heart, no defense, no intensity, no execution of the offense, absolutely nothing! Kurt Thomas is the only one with some heart,
Oh by the way, I had the knicks straight, on a 2 team parlay with Butler and on a 3 team round robin with the Spurs and the Rockets!!!!!! What a f#$cking waste!!! |

#16 Posted: 2/1/2005 4:15:56 AM this is probably the wrong thread to say this, but i think the knicks cover against denver on tuesday
think about it
the knicks should have no chance of covering
but that is what the nba is all about
the things that should happen don't
ny knicks +9.5 VS denver

#21 Posted: 2/1/2005 9:56:30 AM Marybury is a baller not a player -that's his MO.
Me first, and with "lil" Penny and Vinny B. /Timmy T. upfront you have a lineup of Carvel soft serve .....
Plus, Herb Williams is not a motivator -you can see it in his demeanor ....... |

#22 Posted: 2/1/2005 10:07:22 AM this game was brutal..in addition to Marbury's awfule sequence above, K. Thomas misses a FT, Marbury missed a point blank, wide-open layup, and at the end the Knicks took two absolutely horrid shots... a leaning, off-balance 3 by Crawford that was way off, which of course was immediately followed by a foul and 2 FTs to moose Knick backers....and then the capper was they still had 8 seconds to score, but they gave the ball to Nazr Mohammed who attempted his first 3 of the year, which of course fell about 5 feet short....just awful...cost me $2000 |

#25 Posted: 2/1/2005 11:11:50 AM Vasilos, I agree Marbury is an overrated punk but to say he is shaving points makes you look very stupid. FACTS: Marbury makes $178 grand per game this year. Over the next 4 years he will earn over $76 million or an average of 19.2 million. This money is guarenteed!!!!! and doesn't include an endorsement deals which he has. This garbage happens all the time, its part of the deal. |
