Not only are people losing wages, insurance benefits, and jobs because of ObamaCare, now we get this:
WASHINGTON (AP) — Insurance companies will have to pay out an average of 32 percent more for medical claims on individual health policies under President Barack Obama's overhaul, the nation's leading group of financial risk analysts has estimated.
That's likely to increase premiums for at least some Americans buying individual plans.
The report by the Society of Actuaries could turn into a big headache for the Obama administration at a time when many parts of the country remain skeptical about the Affordable Care Act.
While some states will see
medical claims costs per person decline, the report concluded the
overwhelming majority will see double-digit increases in their individual health insurance markets, where people purchase coverage directly from insurers.
The disparities are striking. By 2017, the estimated increase would
be 62 percent for California, about 80 percent for Ohio, more than 20
percent for Florida and 67 percent for Maryland. Much of the reason for
the higher claims costs is that sicker people are expected to join the
pool, the report said.
Hey remember when ObamaCare was going to "bend the cost curve down"?

Why not blame insurance companies instead? As firms have done for decades, they are raising rates now while they still can. After Obamacare is fully implemented, companies won't be able to raise rates without justification in the future.

So if these "sicker" people wouldn't be allowed to join any pools would they still be treated? My guess is yes and the costs would pushed on to us through higher costs for medical treatment just as they have been.

(Reuters) - Millions of Americans will be priced out of health insurance under President Barack Obama's healthcare overhaul because of a glitch in the law that adversely affects people with modest incomes who cannot afford family coverage offered by their employers, a leading healthcare advocacy group said on Tuesday.
"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor!"
"The average family will save $2,500 per year in health care costs"

Uh, insurance companies aren't rasing rates because it is fun.
Blaming them would be silly and ridiculous.

If Insurance Company A raises their rates then individuals or companies can go to Insurance Company B.
I know if I run an insurance company I will keep my rates the same if my competitors raise their rates. That way I will get more customers, thus, make more money. With the extra money, I pocket some and hire new employees to handle the extra customers. CAPITALISM.
Unless there is an external force making ALL insurance companies raise their rates. Is Obamacare that external force?

by keeping hours under 30 per week, Juicy Couture will no longer be required to offer their workers affordable health care – part of the Affordable Health Care Act’s plan to make sure more working Americans have basic health care. Further, we were told we’re only eligible for paid time off in case we’re sick or have other responsibilities if we work 1400 hours in one year. We did the math, and realized part-time workers reach that at 21 hours per week. This means that the vast majority of Juicy Couture’s workers will not ever get one single paid sick day.
