We give the gift of freedom to the Iraqi's from a tyrant with American blood and treasure and this is the thanks we get, a call to use oil as a weapon from other Arab countries to support a terrorist organization - Hamas, elected by the Palestinians.

Not to be outdone in stupidity exhibit (b), Obama had to stab a 30 year ally (Mubarrek) in the back and watch him be replaced with the Muslim Brotherhood, now Egypt can no longer be considered an ally and any assistance in keeping the peace.

Face it. We've had two consecutive foreign policy boneheads in the White House. Bush destablized the region by invading Iraq on false pretenses. Then Obama has made the situation worse by allowing the radical Islamic virus to spread.

I didnt originally comment but found the freedom comment very disturbing.

So we gave "freedom" to Iraq? I dont think women or those in the religious minority feel like they have more freedoms than while Saddam was in control.

We did nothing to make that country better and lost thousands of lives and billions of dollars.

If that is "mission accomplished" I guess I want a different mission.

What arrogance? I bet the 4,500 guys we&#x27;ve lost and the countless injured would call their sacrifices a gift. If you leave a son there or a limb, wouldn&#x27;t that clearly be called a sacrifice to provide a gift? I realize the people there a mostly too ignorant to realize what freedom is, but at least they have a choice. They do have elections now and I don&#x27;t think the have rape and torture chambers any longer compliments of Sadaam and his lovely sons. If the world hates us so much, why do we provide so much assistance? I&#x27;m all for pulling all support with a mandate that any act of aggression will come with severe consequences.And Uber, Bush had 17 U.N. resolutions for Sadaam to disarm and support of Congress to act. Sadaam stiff armed them and he acted, right or wrong he didn&#x27;t sit there after bombs went off and said to wait for the investigation.

At this point ..Obama&#x27;s bombing of Libya doesn&#x27;t look like it made that country better ..but they do have freedom ..freedom to kill Americans and our Abassadors... &#xD;&#xA;No Americans killed in Libya bombings  ..     ..but  it&#x27;s ok be responsible for the killing of 25/30,000 Libyans,another 20,000 with serious injuries and another 200,000 leaving the country and living a refugees..Because no Americans were killed ...&#xD;&#xA;But hey ! It only cost us over $1.1 Billion and 10&#x27;s of millions of reconstruction aid ..and that&#x27;s without Congressional approval..just think how much .we could have spent with their Ok ..

killer, no doubt many american soldiers sacrificed but not to give any gift to iraq, certainly not a gift they wanted, a gift that came with the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent iraquis. that sacrifice was done to give a gift to corrupt american politicians and billion dollar infrastructure and defense firms. i was more likely to benefit from that gift as a stockholder in one of the benefited companies than anyone in iraq.

Yeah Slim we got off cheap on Libya for a change.

Of course when we leave our embassy unprotected the cowards love and look for weaknesses and they found a big one in Benghazi. Too bad our the requests for support were repeatedly denied.

Dirt, are you claiming we murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's? No doubt the military contractors made off with a fortune but I just don't put any faith in the claim that we murdered hundreds of thousands of innocents. I think the media would love that story and would have no problem showing us the evidence of that.
