I am very curious how many of the partisans here go through life so utterly deluded.  I assume you actually believe the things you write.
Is it comforting to believe the world is as you see it?  Do you feel the rest of the continent is blind while you are enlightened??

So rarely in my life do I meet people who actually think like so many of you here.  I find it fascinating that you all actually exist in such numbers.  It all makes me want to get more guns and move to the woods.

The only reason I think it is this way is because we are thousands of miles away from each other. If we personally knew each other we would still be arguing our points but it would be over beers with smiles on our faces.

One of my best friends when I was in the Army was a female San Francisco Lib. Not the type of person one would imagine to join the Army but she did. If we were around each other five days a week we probably brought up politics maybe once for about 5minutes.

its not that you all disagree with me or anyone else but how tremendously naive you are.  in all my life ive only met a few and yet there are 5 here who are bat garbage leftist kool aid drinkers.  the same as birthers and truthers.  really amazes me.

Well, IMO, I think it's insane to waste the one life you have worrying about rich people being able to retain all of their hard earned cash, so they can STILL not create jobs.

I guess I just don't think everything boils down to money, and that maybe some things should just be done for the greater good of humanity.  I don't think when Mitt dies and meets God (if there is one) that God will care much about the deficit, or his "success" as a corporate raider...

delusion...a false fixed belief.  a sign of psychiatric illness.

It is insanity the way you guys argue over who would serve the country better, it is like arguing over who is going to take that fat chick home at last call.

I repeatedly post this but there is no difference who is elected. We will end up with the same ending, much deeper in debt and a completely corrupt system. These partisan arguments are pointless. We have been sold out by both parties.

funny you should make this thread, just look at the way the forum moderator wallstreetcappers cant even own up to his own claims regarding the # of delegates for RP in NV.  he is so beholden to not believing anything that comes from the right that he will deny even the most mundane facts.

i was listening to a local espn radio show last week and the hosts got onto the topic of family members who you hate to have over bc they have such wild views (whether religion, politics, sports....) that it ruins the entire get together.  one of the hosts has a relative whos a die hard liberal who always wants to talk politics, at the last family gathering, as the relative started the conversation, the host said, "name me 1 thing obama has done wrong" and the relative couldnt (or perhaps wouldnt) answer.  so the host said, theres no point in having a conversation if you are going to be so one sided bc nothing anyone can say will matter.

That's the thing. No way to actually know if it will make a difference. One of the metrics we can go by is the unemployment rate. Even then, with the numbers in front of us, they will be interpreted different.
