#1 Posted: 8/16/2012 8:26:44 AM Just more "tolerance" in action here.
(AP) WASHINGTON - A man suspected of shooting and wounding a security guard in the lobby of a Christian lobbying group had been volunteering at a community center for happy, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
A law enforcement official has identified the suspect arrested in Wednesday's shooting as Floyd Corkins II of Herndon, Va. Investigators were interviewing his neighbors.
Another official says the shooter made a negative reference about the work of the Family Research Council before opening fire

Note that the number of shootings, rapes, robberies, assualts on police, etc by the Tea Party remain at zero.
The same can't be said for OWS and the pro-happy marriage left.

We have a staunch right winger on this forum who is happy, so really what is your point in this post?
I also didnt know that you had access to what parties people committing across the country belong to. That is simply amazing how much crime stat info you have access to
sounds like more bullshit and spin coming from your mouth. |

Um, how many "right wingers" volunteer at LGBT groups and hate the Family Research Council, a conservative organization? We have a staunch right winger on this forum who is happy, so really what is your point in this post?

Which of course has nothing to do with the article here.
Nor the fact that 2/3rds of Democrats polled support happy marriage.

It is funny that you somehow believe I actually said or implied that.
Of course since this person is affiliated with the political party you vote for, you're busy trying to change the subject.

#6 Posted: 8/16/2012 9:48:18 AM I interpreted your comments to be towards democrats as well. The part where you said "pro happy marriage left" is why I think this.
Do you work for Fox News? If not, you should. You could probably go far in that organization.

They are toward Democrats. 2/3rd of Democrats support happy marriage. This person doing the shooting was hysterical over happy marriage.
The OWS crowd (over 7,000 arrests) supports Democrats and elected Democrats support OWS.
But none of that means I think only Democrats are happy. |

The OP brings to mind this video. Just bringing some levity to the thread.

Neo-Nazi's are open & proud of their hate. Nobody is suprised when they shoot anyone.
What I can't get over is how these allegedly "tolerant" people keep beating and shooting people they disagree with. |

#13 Posted: 8/16/2012 2:16:37 PM daroad, you are A RACIST PERSON and thats a fact.
your post says it all about you.
I didnt know you had all the police reports across the country that proved no tea party memeber hasnt committed rape, assault, robbery or any other crimes.
I didnt know when somebody commits a crime, the newspaper starts the article off with "joe smith a registered democrat was caught stealing at target today" gee in all my 50 years on this planet, i have yet to see that in the paper.
Your post makes it sound like only democrats are gahy, when the fact is there are gays in every party and to prove that point, i said a staunch right winger in this forum is happy, so i guess that blows your racist idea out of the water.
slither back under the rock you crawled out from |

#17 Posted: 8/16/2012 4:25:53 PM Slim, stealing money is ok, it's no big deal especially for politicians. Now if she were happy, and the store was Christian book store, then we're talking some serious crimes here. |

You or anyone reading are more than welcome to prove me wrong.

The fact that you can't grasp what I'm saying is a referendum on you.
Not me.

#19 Posted: 8/16/2012 6:33:52 PM I disagree with your last statement 14. It's the author's job to clearly express their point to the reader. I'm not trying to be difficult or take sides here but cd has a point.
Your first post in this thread could be interpreted in numerous different ways. I don't know if that was on purpose or not but it does come across as unclear and could easily be misinterpreted. |

#20 Posted: 8/16/2012 6:37:15 PM Btw, I like your use of the word "tolerant" in the OP as well.
Is there any group of people less tolerant on this planet than devout religious people? Not saying this guy deserves to be shot for anything he did. But far more and worse atrocities have been committed in the name of God(any God to be more specific) than almost any other organization.

#22 Posted: 8/16/2012 6:49:15 PM I thought it was weird that this didn't make more news.Considering the whole chic fil e fiasco I would have to say I am downright shocked that I did not see this on FOX when I watched it for a half hour during lunch.
Strange how a place like Washington DC with such draconian gun laws can be a place where gun violence happens. It is almost like this man had no regard for the law when committing his crimes. weird.

It's because he is a happy Democrat. If he were a Bible thumping, God fearing man this would have never happened.......even to a Doctor at an abortion clinic. |
