(CNN) - A growing list of Democrats in competitive districts and states will not attend this year's Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Considering George W. Bush won the 2004 presidential election, even though the 2004 Republican national convention saw record protesting (for either party), I'm not sure what the relevance is of a few democrats skipping their convention. |

It seem to be relevant to usual suspects and supporters to desperately grasp at at shred they can find... at least that is what I can gather from this thread...

The relevance is: Bush was allegedly so "unpopular" yet Republicans weren't skipping the convention.

candidates in skipping the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte
and not endorsing President Obama.
