#3 Posted: 12/6/2011 2:50:48 AM NYG +5.5 (1u) - the gman have better clock management and with wins over the Pats in Week 9 and close shave with the Pack last week, and with a better road record, I'll take the g-men in this spot. SCORE: Giants 24-Cowboys 21 |

#6 Posted: 12/6/2011 9:25:26 PM Dallas win by a touchdown!!!! Ever since losing to Niners, Giants has been going down. Remember.. Giants lost to Seattle and Philly.. Dallas is great at home and has much better defense. This could be like the Giant @ SF game to me |

Last week Dallas" luck ran out.
Who are the Cowbillies going to double cover? Nicks or Cruz? Giants +3.0 or ML. Eli goes over 400 yards this game. Once Nicks or Cruz catches a few big passes the Dallas "D" is going to get a number of holdings/PIs. Dallas' MLB has one hand, can't wrap up Bradshaw.
Giants win this outright with Dallas scoring a late TD to make it look closer than it really is.

#11 Posted: 12/7/2011 8:34:35 PM Umenyiora out, Miles Austin back, the game is in Dallas, "America's Game Of The Week" on Sunday night, Also, I would say the winner of this game wins the division.
If Garrett hadn't of "Brainfarted" in Arizona, Cowboys would be on a 5-0 roll - - whereas if the Giants lose this game, this will be their fifth loss in a row.........
Should be a great game, right? I think I'll just sit back and enjoy it for once - - no wager!!!!!!!! |

Remember also please, Dallas gave away the N.Y. Jets game on the opening Sunday night as well as the Detroit game, the New England game and the Arizona game.
Not trying to be a homer, but they could be a lot better (also realize they won a couple close games against S.F., Wash (twice) and Miami...
New York always plays Dallas to their best but wonder if they gave it all against Green Bay and Dallas has some motivation...
Dallas -3.5 |

AMEN........preach!!!!! alot of dallas fans seem to conveniently FORGET that Wade Phillips went 13-3 at some point with Dallas and got beat by the eventual SUPERBOWL champion 2007 ny giants. Dallas hasn't won that many games since. jason Garret has made many gaffes as a cordinator and as a head coach. as a Dallas fan this kind of reminds me of the Barry Switzer era except w/out the superbowl. Hell...I'm not sure if I will ever see Romo and Garret make a NFC title game. |

#19 Posted: 12/8/2011 4:39:21 PM Tony Romo in December.... pull that record up on your computer screen and hide the women and children....
because it is scary.....
November is over.....
I have a Master Plan....
I'm going to throw in a LARGE 3-team teaser..... and usually I don't do teasers but I had a vision while on the train during my 1:45 minute commute to Manhattan.... a betting vision
1) The Colts +26.5..... basically at 1:00 I'm going to be rooting for the Colts to score 1 touchdown on the Ravens somehow....
2) The Packers -1..... at 4:00 I'll be rooting for Rodgers not to lose in Lambeau
3) The Giants +13.5.... If the Giants lose their season by more than 13.5 than ok, I don't deserve to win the bet....
but wait there's more.
After the 4:00 game
If I have won the first two outcomes.... I'm going to bet the equal amount of that LARGE teaser.... on the Giants ML....
If I lose, I'm even.... If I win.... it could be a big day...... If the first two outcomes don't hit... I'll be back on the boards with a game-time cap on the night game....
GMEN ML... GL TO ALL!
by the way I'm a Jets fan, so there is no homer factor in my post..... although I admit I do root for the Giants... but I can't see them losing in this spot....
(these aren't my only bets naturally)

#20 Posted: 12/9/2011 12:56:06 PM Here's the 3-team, 10 pt tease...
NYG +13 NE +2 GB -1
If Dallas wins, they certainly won't win by 2 TD's. Not with all 3 Giants WR's back in action to cover. At some point they will get the matchup with Alan Ball somewhere in key situations, and you can mark it up as a huge first down conversion or TD. Happens game after game. Any team needs a key play, isolate Ball and you got it 9 of 10 times. Ball is the 4th corner, but somehow Rob Ryan keeps getting him in there covering at least a #3 receiver in huge situations.
Have to go with the Pats for the win versus the disabled Redskins. Way too many injuries and deficiencies on that team to shock an offense like NE. They may slow them down, but no way they keep pace. And NE in tight race for #1 seed in AFC, with Pitt now half game ahead. Gotta keep pace and beat the lower level teams.
As for Green Bay...let's just say undefeated and playing at home. Also, cold as hell in GB and playing against a visiting Cali team. McFadden still out. Streak doesn't end at home, if it ever does.
That's the 3-team winner...be tough to beat.
As for the Cowboys-Giants winner...be careful here. Everybody is jumping on the Giants. Yes, they can score, but their defense is pretty damn flimsy. And their will doesn't look very strong. Cowboys are now at full strength with the power fullback and Miles Austin back from several weeks off. It may not be Miles that hurts you directly, but he will allow Laurent Robinson to be covered by the 3rd Giants corner on an already bad pass defense. And with a starting safety out, Witten should get free often. The Cowboys offense and effort you see Sunday night, will not match the last 3 weeks. Should be a hell of a game. But jumping all over the Giants as the winner is naive and risky. |

#24 Posted: 12/9/2011 10:48:30 PM Tom Coughlin is being shown the exit door after this year. There's is no logical reason for a team like the G-Men , whom haven't really distinguished themselves at anytime, to suddenly surge ahead in this spot. Eli's is still missing one important stat- W's! Granted ,the Giants are desparate. But so are the 'Boys. A win here, gives Dallas a 2 game edge with 3 more to play! The NFC East has been one of the most erractic in all of the league. A loss here, and kiss the playoffs goodbye for New York.
DALLAS - 3.5

Got a shovel? That way you can help me bury the Giants' pathetic season. My -my- all that talent you talk about and still not even a winning record. What a joke! It's your money -pal!! |
