Way too many points for a team with a very subpar offense to cover. Ill take wake plus 24.

Problem is Wake is crap....if they can score only 6 on the road at
NC State how are they going to put up anything to cover here vs a stingy ND defense ?

Stingy defense with not much of a explosive offense won't get you to cover 24 points! Amen!!!!

I expect a similar game to the BC-ND game last week.  Unless Wake commits lots of turnovers, ND won't cover 24.

The only way ND doesn't cover is if they look forward to USC and don't come out to play against Wake.  WF offense is terrible and based on a mediocre QB that has regressed after a solid 2011 year.  I took the points with Wake earlier this year at FSU and Wake got blown out of the water by a pretty good FSU defense.  ND has a much better defense, all around, and could force the issue throughout the game.

Wake Forest 16 at Notre Dame 32  "Wake Forest has been more susceptible to knockouts than Floyd Patterson once upon a time, but not sure Notre Dame possesses Sonny Liston-like KO power these days.  Irish "O" lately moving in fits and spurts, and Brian Kelly's home chalk at (5-10-3) mark remains subpar.  Recent return of key WR Campanaro gives Wake Forest a play-making element to do some damage."  TV-NBC
 
Must run with Gold Sheet here.  ND now only 1-5 vs. point spread last five games!  Even failed to cover against Boston College. Plus, Norte Dame WR DaVaris Daniels now out for season.
 
Still unable to place Notre Dame, UCLA or Kansas State on my Big Gun list.  24 points not "free money."   But if "underdog" Tanner Price (1,965 YDs and 12 TDs) and his teammates wear their "super-power rings", might be able to sneak under point spread in this one.

I am an ND freak. Kelly pulls back the reigns after he gets a lead and turns into Jim Tressel. Lets his Defense bring him home. More about killing clock and snuffing out the other teams time of possession!

All he wants is the "W" and the plane tix to USC......

LOL Simadman. Wake averages 9 on the road, 20 all games and will score 19 against ND's defense??? Good luck with that one.

Lots of points yes, ND alum and don't care if they cover, but they are not good ATS

don't like laying points with this ND team, because they are clearly over-rated... but Wake is a horrible team from a horrible conference... if there was ever a patsy that ND could pile up style points against, it is Wake...

won't be shocked if i lose this one, but i still think it's the right play...
