Just looking for a cover here. The Irish have NOT COVERED against the Big East in over 9 years as home favorites!

PITTSBURGH  +  16.5

I have little doubt that Pitt won't be scoring much, but I do have some doubt about ND blowing them out.  After that huge win last week I would not be surprised to see Coach Kelly pull out some of the tactics from his Grand Valley State days and be more conservative. That would keep this one closer then some would imagine - and it should keep his team in great shape for next week.  I would be cautious about going all in on ND in this match.

Teams rarely upset Oklahoma on the road, and when they do, they are horrible the next week. Last 13 that won as underdogs at Oklahoma last week in weeks 2-10 and covered the line my more than 4 points are 0-13 ATS. And not only that, they are losing those games by almost 18 points per game ! Last year Texas Tech went to Oklahoma, won there, and then lost 7-41 at home as 15 points fave against Iowa State ! Take Pittsburgh +17 guys !!!

Texas Tech wasn't good last year & they lost their remaining games after beating Oklahoma so I don't believe Notre Dame is comparable to that stat

Notre Dame 4-0 ATS away & neutral field (winning by 28, covering by 24+), 1-3 ATS home (winning by 5 and not covering by almost 5).

Just sayin....

Irish have been playing some really good defensive teams, Pitt isn't one. I realize this is a let down week for the Irish but Kelly will most likely work the passing game with the weaker defenses the next 3 weeks, building on Gohlson's confidence and in game passing abilities. Thinking the Irish and Pitt score some points here.

Taking over 45.5 looking for it to surpass the 50 mark. 35-17 sounds about right..

You sure?

"PITTSBURGH—Three Pitt football players, including starting running back Ray Graham, will play on Saturday against No. 4 Notre Dame despite being charged with simple assault and conspiracy in connection with an incident last month involving three other students."

Let's get serious, Pitt has one kinda good win this year beating V Tech (who is a shell of it's former self). Tino Sunseri is Pitts answer to S.Fla's BJ Daniels, that is to say, he is not very good.
Tino will become very familiar with Notre Dames playing surface as his face will be mashed into it repeatedly. This won't be a good thing as Tino will then get rattled and look to get rid of the ball as soon as he can, even if it's to an Irish player. Pitt will be lucky if they score double digits. Notre Dame isn't an offensive juggernaut by any means but if they can put 30 on the Sooners well...
If you think Brian Kelly will let this team have a hangover from that win last week, I don't think so. They expected to win that game. While everyone doubted them Brian Kelly and his team went and took care of business just as they will this week.
Notre Dame 38 - 9.

You will lose every week because you think let down ND blowout at halftime.

Lean to the under with Notre Dame's defense and struggles to score at home. Pitt's defense isn't that bad avg. 339 YPG, liking the under! GL

Keep in mind:Note Dame needs style points to seperate themselves from the Kansas State and Oregon clusterf**k.  I think the NCAA is eager to get Notre Dame back in a championship game.  A sound win against Pitt is a necessary condition for that to occur. With all that said I am laying off.  WOuld take the Under if anything.  GLTA

At first glance , i like the Under , but 75% public on under , so i might try taking Pitt +17.

Predict : Irish 21-14.

Pitt + 17 : LARGE ( 10units) .

under 44 : 5 units.

6 pt teaser : Pitts + 23 , under 50 : 5 units.
