#1 Posted: 4/27/2012 12:39:33 PM We've all been waiting for. Yes there appears to be somequality horses in the field but some are pretenders(BODE) the biggest pretender. DULLAHAN in the able hands of DORFFMAN i think will win all 3. POWERFUL ANIMAL down the stretch, where it means the most. |

There is zero percent chance Dullahan wins the triple crown. |

#4 Posted: 4/27/2012 1:12:18 PM If he wins the Derby he'll be just the 6th in over 80 years to win with a dosage above 4.00.
-Never won on dirt -Bluegrass winners ineffective in recent derbies. -Will need perfect trip with his running style in 20 horse field
Good luck, but if I was going to bet a synthetic/turf closer it would be Went The Day Well who is probably just as good (or very close) and will be double the odds.

I agree with the comparison, however I'm not so quick to dismiss Went the Day Well as a turf/synthetic type. He has a win and experience on dirt and his breeding is just as sound for 1 1/4 on dirt as it would be turf.

Great turn off foot in the Bluegrass. Still up against it, but peaking at the right time.

#8 Posted: 4/27/2012 1:30:29 PM Hahahahahaha. Dead closers dont win the derby, so good luck with that. Not to mention Dullahan has 3 races at CD and none of them were good. Proven bad dirt form is definitely not a good thing when considering a derby winner especially when his bad dirt form is at CD |

He was 4th beaten 6 lengths in the Breeders Cup Juvenile last year at Churchill with some trouble. Probably the best and deepest race any of the Derby horses has ran in to date. And he just ran down and beat the winner of that race (Hansen) in the Bluegrass in his last start. His first two races at Churchill were sprints. He's not a sprinter. Look at his workouts on dirt. He's got bullet works and high quality works at both Gulfstream and Churchill. I don't exactly see "proven bad dirt form" |

#10 Posted: 4/27/2012 1:50:22 PM And his first two races at Churchill were also the first two races of his career. Not every two year old makes his debut ready to win races. How do you know that the results in those first two races were just because he was a green 2 yr old and not because he was running on dirt? |

#12 Posted: 4/27/2012 1:57:08 PM It beat hansen on his preferred surface. A horse that has no dirt wins is not gonna win 3 straight on dirt to win the triple crown. so again give me a break |

#13 Posted: 4/27/2012 2:12:20 PM Give you a break from what? You make no sense. Show me where it's proven that Dullahan can't run on dirt.
Check out Daddy Nose Best past performances. His first two races were on dirt at Churchill also. Didn't win either of them. Matter of fact one of them was the same as Dullahan. Didn't race on dirt again for his next 7 races. His last race he comes out of a race at Golden Gate on synthetic Tapeta and he wins the G3 Sunland Derby ON DIRT. |

#14 Posted: 4/27/2012 2:18:07 PM I don't know who you like but please don't claim that Dullahan can't run on dirt and then bet on one of the horses that finished behind him in the BC Juvenile on dirt? |

#15 Posted: 4/27/2012 2:30:59 PM Dullahan cant run on dirt, if you show me where he can or until he proves otherwise in an actual race then im not gonna stop saying it. Your comparing him to another horse that wont win so who cares. After Dullahan is no where close to winning the KD he will become a turf/synthetic horse,he is clearly a far better horse on turf/synthetic which is clearly shown in his PPs. His fat trainer just wants a horse in the derby. |

You're the one acting like he knows it all guy. And by the way I've seen this attitude in another thread when you were talking to Spliquid, who's posted more nice paying winners on here then you ever have, that's for sure. Sorry, but I disagree with you that Dullahan can't run on dirt. I post my opinions here just like you are anybody else. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.
So tell me, I bet you like a horse that finished behind Dullahan in the BC Juvenile right? Cmon just admit it. |

Doubt we will ever see another TC winner for many reasons. My biggest two are the races are to close together for these babys and too many drugs involved.
And how is Dutrow still training. That piece of garbage should be banned for life. |
