#2 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:40:48 PM im on denver and it was as td. he had crossing the line. if a running back jumps over the pile from the 1 and crossed the line and its then knocked out its still a td |

#4 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:42:16 PM I love idiots who claim that "the fix is in", Vegas rigged it, etc. Call was legit and it was a TD. Quit your whining and next time make a better pick. |

thats true
however, the ruling on a reception is different.
on a reception you have to maintain posession all the way through. |

#8 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:44:55 PM you can't compare the two badlands because they're not the same. in the nfl, the receiver must complete the catch and maintain possession while going to the ground. that was the wrong call |

Only when the catch is made in the endzone. When the catch is made short of the endzone then only the ball needs to cross the plane. Once the plane is broken it's a TD regardless of fumble or whatever.

no no no. He caught the ball outside the endzone and had possession when the plane was broken. That's it. Play over. Catching it in the endzone is totally different.

#16 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:48:40 PM Thanks to the stupid world of slo-mo micro managing of catches, etc due to instant replay there is debate on whether or not that was a catch.
20 years ago nobody would have suggested that this was not a catch and not a TD. |

#18 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:49:40 PM dont you guys remember they said johnsons call was wrong. that was the wrong call. you cant say detroit got screwed and this shouldnt be a td. one of em has to be wrong. either they were right on johnsons or wrong on this one. im pretty sure if you break the plane with control you dont have to go through that whole ground thing |

#20 Posted: 11/18/2012 7:53:26 PM If you had the full game spread, why didn't you buy the half point? It was -7.5 the majority of the day. |
