#1 Posted: 10/5/2012 12:23:13 AM Radwa ML
*I still don't trust Na's new serve, it's completely hit or miss...and she can't bring anything but her "A" game if she expects to sneak by the win machine in Radwa.
Oprandi +7.5
*We all know Aza can cover this line if she's completely on her game, but she hasn't been in quite sometime. She's been doing just enough to get by the last few weeks. Would love to see Oprandi get me 4 games in the 1st set.

#3 Posted: 10/5/2012 1:27:33 AM Aza takes 1st 6-2, had a big chance to hold to get to 5-3...would've been HUGE.
Afraid I'm looking at a loser here unless Oprandi finds a way to break again somewhere in the 2nd. 38% on 1st serve simply wont get it done against anyone...let alone the #1

I don't think Li should be favored but she has beat Radwa 2-0 this year on hard |

Go look at the RESULTS from the last 2 weeks, and show me where she "smoked everyone"
6-3 6-3 against a qualifier last out?
6-4 6-2 against Lisicki?

Lisicki is a top 20 player. Vesnina is a better player than Oprandi. Not sure what you're getting at here. |

You're not allowed to make an argument if you don't have stats to back it up. My point was, you claimed she's been dominate...yet she hadn't covered the +7.5 against any of her most recent opponents.
I must be crazy, cause I think Oprandi is ranked higher and has a 23-14 YTD compared to a lower ranked Vesnina with a 14-16 YTD
Really easy to argue against someone when you chime in 3/4 the way through the match. Haha. GL tonight buddy.

#19 Posted: 10/5/2012 2:12:21 AM Oprandi padded her record kicking around in low level events beating stiffs earlier in the yr. Her and Vesnina are virtually the same damn player. Why was Vika -2300 vs Oprandi and just -1500 vs Vesnina if Oprandi is the better player? |

I chimed in on the Mayer thread before the match started that Oprandi would need a miracle to win 3 games in a set, in case you are so concerned. |
