I don’t agree with most pundits calling for a close tactical battle here.Keep in mind that the CR needs 3 points out of this game or risk falling out of qualification altogether, something they can’t afford to let happen.
First a look at the host squad:
The CzechRepublic has seen 4 of their last 6 international matches combine for 3 goals or more. Their last world cup qualifier was a 3-0 road win v Armenia and the game before that was a 3-0 home loss to Denmark, a team Italy beat 3-1.In my view, Italy has just as much fire power as the Danes do.
The CzechRepublic has scored 8 in their last 5 home international games and allowed 3 goals.I expect their defence to be tested tonight against an attack minded Italian side.
Prandelli has had the Italians attack more under his reign and it has shown in their higher scoring results. 5 of their last 7international games have reached 3 combined goals or more but the concerning part is that they are susceptible to allowing a goal as they have allowed a goal in 8 of their last 10 international road matches
In Italy’s last 5 away matches they have outscored the opposition by 10-5 for an average of 3 goals per game.
Italy has played 5 world cup qualifiers in the group and has scored 16 goals and conceded 4.The CR has scored 6 and allowed 4 in their 5 qualification games.
This 4-3-3 lineup expected to fielded by Prandelli is attack oriented. Barzagli and Abate have great speed to help bring the ball up field and with the option of Montolivo in midfield should they need to make a change this is a VERY strong lineup for Italy, fielded to win this game. Goals can come from anywhere with this lineup.
Bottom line here is that Italy will use this game as a tune up for the confederations cup while at the same time they know a win would put them in a great qualification spot. The CR need a result as well or risk falling out of qualification.
Given that my handicap allows for Italy to net at least 2 goals in all my projections, this is the bet I am playing.

Thanks for the post. But I disagree that CR needs a win. With a draw they're only 1 point behind Bulgaria for 2nd place with 4 matches left. Plenty of time to catch up.
