What we need is more restrictions on the bad old evil police... 
MUST make sure no one gets a bo-bo on their feelings, regardless of the crime...
Do I want to live in a Police State??? NO... BUT when the idea is TOTAL INSANITY for a child to walk a mile to school... NO ONE can convince me we live in a better society today than when I walked to school... (Which was about a mile)
When they find the animal that did this it should be put down just like any other rabid dog.
Maybe if breaking the law was not a joke or right of passage for some, kids could walk to school with out fear of rape and murder...
