#1 Posted: 9/7/2012 12:07:51 PM These forced advertisements are driving me nuts!
You know the ones that just pop-up out of nowhere and take up like half the screen. And you look for the little 'X' to close the window, but it's hidden within the advertisement; or it's on the bottom left corner instead of the top right corner. Holy garbage!
Even more annoying is these video's/commercials that start playing automatically. You go to ESPN or something and all of a sudden your speakers are blaring some Taco Bell or All-State commercial. You try and close the thing but it's somewhere off screen and you can't find the friggin source. Thus, you have to mute the audio on your computer just to shut the friggin thing up! HOLY garbage!
Is this really an effective marketing tool for companies because it just pisses me off to be quite honest.
HOLY-friggin-garbage!

#3 Posted: 9/7/2012 3:31:37 PM ESPN pisses me off with this . I just want to read an article but the damn video loads automatically and is on full volume. I will skull darn the developer who had this idea. |

God bless you! I've always heard people mention Ad Blocker but never gave it much thought. World of difference!
THANK YOU!
