Good Old Philander Rodman, Let me tell you all My Philander Rodman Story.

As some here know, I spent a considerable amount of time in the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica and many other destinations where Women are cheaply available.

So onward, Its late September 2007 Im about to celebrate my 34th Birthday in a weeks time, Im vacationing in the Philippines for 55 days, So I arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 9 PM, Im outside waiting for my pre-aranged ride to the land of Plenty, Good Old Angeles City Philippines a former US Military Base called Clark Airbase, This was Home to thousands of our military service men and they had there way with many girls.

the girls came from all Over the Philippines to work in the bars, Hoping to find a US serviceman that would fall head over heels and bring them back to the US.

Anyway Back to Philander Rodman.

So my cab arrives and this old black dude comes running over and says is that Arnel, Is your driver Arnel, I said Yes,

Philander says, Your going to AC (Angeles City) I was like who are you?

He said I live in AC, I have a soul food restaraunt My name is Philander, He asked since we are going to the same place, If we would share the cab fare?

Angeles is about a good 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the airport.

I said sure, Okay why not.

We get to his restaraunt, He says Ill be right back with the cab fare, I said okay, we wait 20 minutes, He doesnt show up, I go knock on the restaraunt door, No Answer, I was like this friggin Douchebag.

Next day I was in some bars near the area and said to myself, Im gonna go in there and get my 1200 Peso's thats around 24 bucks including tip is what he should have paid.

So I walk in there and he comes out, Hey brotha, Sorry about yesterday my kids had swiped the money and I was embarressed, I said okay, He said, sit and eat, anything and everything is on the house.

I said, Okay, I ordered exactly 1200 pesos worth of food and was prepared to tip the waitress, So I get done eating, half the food because this was far from soul food.

The young lady waitress brings me a Bill for 1224 Peso's

I said No Philander said its on the house for a cab ride he didnt pay.

She said He is gone and he didnt tell me, I was pissed.

I payed and left, You dont start garbage there, Had she called the cops they would have extorted me for another 50 or 60 bucks, just for being bothered.

So a week later I walk into One of the best cajun spots Iv ever eat at, Even better than some hole in the walls in New Orleans.

The Black Gentlemens name was Jimmy, he owns the place, we chat and I tell him about this Philander character, He laughs and says, Did Philander tell you his last name, I said no.

He said, Its Rodman, It hit me, Philander Rodman, He said Bingo and you got Rodmaned by Philander, He said dont feel bad, He said when the Bulls were going for there repeat threepeat, Philander convinced some of his old Military buddies, Jimmy Included that Dennis wanted to meet him if he made the effort to go to a chicago playoff game, Bear in mind people that not all of Philanders Freinds were well off with a nice restraunt like Jimmys Cottage Kitchen Cafe, alot of these guys survive by there social security and retirement military Pensions.

So the group of 15 people/freinds of Philander got the money together for a round trip plane ticket, Money for his hotel stay, a ticket to a playoff Bulls game and some 500 spending cash.

They were assurred that Dennis would compensate Philander and all money would be returned, as TMZ showed back then, when Dennis saw his dad, he had security remove him from the arena.

Philander came back with no money to give all of those who helped him, this is Philander, After hearing that I gave up on my quest to get even with him as it was never going to happen, and Yes, he has fathered 29 kids including One who tried to play basketball for the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) named You guessed it lol Philander Rodman Jr.
