Perfect response to this hire. 

Schiano was NOT one of college football's better coaches. Now he is going to the NFL to coach a franchise that is and will continue to be totally irrellevant outside of western Florida.

whatever.....

 

 Schiano spent 11 years in the weakest BCS conference and could only manage to win 36% of his conference games (28-48),and never won or shared the Big East title. Meanwhile during that same time period coaches from Cincinnati,Miami,Louisville,Syracuse,Pitt,WVU,Boston College,and UConn were able to get their teams a title.I for one look forward to watching a Rutgers game next year without all of the unwarranted Greg Schiano hype.

I was making fun of the ridiculous media...trying to get a jump on the (possible) story...just a few days ago it was Chip Kelly "who had the job"...

Looks like Belichick said Schiano would be a great NFL coach...and they said good enough!

They just went unproven/younger/risky...with that Raheem Morris...so this hire seems strange
    *he did a fine job at Rutgers....so surely he will do the same here at Tampa Bay!......huh?

I always liked him .....as his teams seemed to always play hard...kinda funny that the job he always wanted ...but now nobody wants (Penn St)....hired a guy better suited for the Tampa Bay job (Patriots OC Bill O'Brien)...maybe they can swap?.....
