Just horribly non exciting football. Doesnt mean its not good, just not exciting at all when the defenses are way better than the offenses. Jefferson is an abortion at qb.....If he cant run on Bama Jarrett Lee should be in there...... |

#9 Posted: 1/9/2012 11:51:10 PM I love college football but seriously this is the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?
I'd rather watch paint dry and I'm not even saying this because I took LSU, if it would have been LSU 15-0 I would have said the same thing. That is not the type of game you want college football fans remembering as the last game of the year.

Would they have had less than 100 yards of offense? |

no, but Alabama would have scored 40 points on OSU's garbage defense. |

Not arguing that and never said Bama wasnt the best team. Its a FACT this game would have been more entertaining if OK ST played LSU....Ok St/Bama was never an option. |

#19 Posted: 1/10/2012 12:25:59 AM Jordan Jefferson threw that game. He knows he has no shot at the next level and must make money anyway possible in college. I come from a family of connected people and on these campuses, there are bookies(connected) waiting for opportunities like this! Did any of you see the disconnected look in his eyes everytime the camera zeroed in on hime? Talk garbage all you want, I've seen/heard it a thousand times! |

I get your point but Jarret Lee absolutely chokes under pressure. garbage play calling doomed LSU. Maybe try Lee in the 3rd or 4th quarter and chunk the ball "DOWNFIELD" - friggin offensive coordinator called a horrible game
To me the offensive coordinator for Alabama was absolutely brilliant- (and most people hate him) This game he threw the ball a bunch on first down when LSU was expecting the run- they were off balance and once they got a big lead they then started pounding the ball- If he wasn't so conservative the first game they would have beat LSU

If they did then from what we saw clearly Alabama did so there we have it two best teams played. Sorry to all of you who hated the D but you had all the other BCS games to watch BBall games. I found the defensive domination very impressive. And totally memorable in a good way. What a great D! Musberger talking about LSU reaching the 50 like it was the goal line was great. |
