Trout was a no brainer, although Cespedes has a great season.

Wade Miley was solid for the NL too but I have no complain about Harper.

It's all about whoever the media hypes up more. I would have liked to see cespedes win the ROY but trout is more marketable good looking kid had a lot of defensive high lights amd just all around more attention was paid to a team who just signed pujols rather than a team that was predicted to lose 100+ games this last season

The fact that Trout had the greatest rookie season of all time may have also played a role.

Media hype has nothing to do with it. It is not the public voting on the choice, it is very experienced baseball writers. Agree Trout is an absolute no-brainer, Harper I can live with.

Yea. They don't take that nonsense into account. You didn't know?
