Keep observing games for a while. You will see games with high percentages on one side win some and lose some. If it was as easy as your saying everyone would "fade the public" and win. Some years underdogs hit at a better rate and some years favorites do.

#5 Posted: 8/20/2012 10:59:47 PM I think the umps control the line movements....the more they squeeze the strike zone the higher up the favorite juice goes. |

#6 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:08:57 PM Little moves, 10 or 20 bucks is a good sign. I notice huge action is almost always wrong. Look at total on dbacks game. Dropped a lot and gave it a lot of juice heavily favoring the under. It's over not even half way through. Angela the other night changed 40 bucks and built a lead then got drilled. I see it a lot. |

#7 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:17:00 PM line makers play the psychology game with the public. "Oh my gosh, if the line is steaming that far up Oakland MUST be the right play!"
Just ignore it and cap the game. I've learned this the hard way myself

Really? Juice the line by 30 more cents to incite more action on Oakland? Are you really this insane?
