#3 Posted: 8/20/2012 9:23:59 AM Hey Angle...tough day for most of us yesterday, but I'm sure everyone will bounce back starting today.
I've done a bit of snooping around, and McShady appears to have already submitted two individual plays (both on the Rockies). Maybe others can chime in for clarification, but BOTH plays are definitely listed under his Favorites tab on Twitter (where he posts official plays). Anyways, so far, here's what I've got:
McShady Rockies ML (+190) Rockies +1.5
Semper Semper has started a new thread for Chases beginning today, but has yet to post his actual plays. He does confirm, however, that the Rays chase (every series) will continue.Per Semper, he hopes to have the new chase plays posted by noon.
I'll try and keep everyone updated as the morning moves along. Others...please feel free to chime in. And, thanks again to Angle for keeping the Chase threads alive and well on Covers for all of us.
And, thanks again to McShady/Semper for sharing their MLB plays with us all season. Excellent job all the way around, fellas! |

Has the line been released yet for tonight's game? And, have the Pirates named a starting pitcher for tonight?
Neither are listed yet on my sports book. |

I see rays winning games 2 and 3 |

I agree with you, tiago1801. Please see updated post above in regards to Semper's Rays chase switched to UNDER.
I might chase the Royals, along with the UNDER. I also really like both the Braves and Giants (lean) chase plays by Semper.
I admit to being very hesitant with chasing the Orioles at Texas. |

#11 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:22:17 AM I just tweeted McShady and he says Colo plays are singles as of now he actually says he has it Colo -1 +140 but I know there is some kind of formula where you bet so much on the ML and RL-1.5 to arrive at that and that is too complicated for me. I will play a little on both and try to hit one.
Total of the day lost now 88-54, 64-28, 31-15 (and 21-14, 3-8 as posted here). Today's total is Minn/Oak under 7.5
Thanks Camp for getting all this info together in a timely fashion, I don't have time to do all of this by myself. Thanks again!
Camp, don't be too worried about the Orioles, Dempster has stunk and the Rangers are in too much of a funk to sweep anyone right now. I'm not saying they can't, it's just with the 5 game lead they act like they've got it made. There is no sense of urgency right now.
I double-dipped on Balt last nite, to me they are a pretty hungry team.

- Here is some info I found about Balt vs Tex.
- Until Ryan Dempster proves he can pitch in the AL, go
- against the Rangers whenever he takes the
mound.
Dempster has made 3 starts for Texas since coming from the
Cubs. He's given up 19 earned runs in 3 games with 24 hits, 5 HR and 6 six walks in 17 1/3 innings.
The Orioles are hot with 11-4 last 15. They enter this with a ton of confidence
after 5 run comeback to beat Fister at Detroit. The Orioles also catch Texas coming home after a 7 game road trip. The first game after from a long road trip is usually tough for any team..
Miquel Gonzalez gets the start for Baltimore. He's
5-2 with a 3.38 ERA and is in excellent form going 3-0 with a 2.28 during his
past four starts.

#13 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:38:17 AM These are the plays that i gathered so far:
Fullcover of the day:
NYM MLor RL TB ML OAK ML TEX ML or RL WSH ML
note: fullcover is when your parlay ended up 4-1 or 3-2 you still get something in return.. the payout is smaller compared to straight up parlays if you end up 5-0.. i have that in my book, im from the philippines so i dont know if your book has it.. the difference is my book does not offer TT for parlays which is kinda unfair..
Straight up 5teamers:
KC +1.5 NYY ML PHI ML LAD ML CLE +1.5
CIN +1.5 MIL ARI SF +1.5 CLE ML
TOTALS:
MIN U7.5 KC U8 MIA O9.5
thanks to the best cappers in covers.. thats all for now might add some plays later.. BOL to us..

Hope you're right about Baltimore, Angle. I've just got a bad feeling about this series from an Orioles perspective. And, you're definitely right about Dempster. He's absolutely stunk so far for the Rangers. But, I think the Texas bats woke up in the series finale in Toronto, and will continue to hit against the O's (especially in Arlington).
I've actually decided to play the Rangers -1.5 tonight ( ). Will probably jump-in on Orioles tomorrow or Wednesday if necessary. And, if I lose tonight with Texas, I'll be happy for all Chasers as Semper is definitely right far more often than not.
I also decided to put a small amount on McShady's single game Rockies ML (not going to double-dip with Rockies +1.5 however).
In terms of McShady/Semper's other Chase plays...I'm definitely playing them all:
Royals/Rays UNDER 8 Braves/Nationals UNDER 7 Braves ML Giants ML
I'm also chasing the Royals (personal play) and are on them tonight in Tampa Bay. Just a gut feeling they get 1 against the red-hot Rays.
BOL to all Chasers!! |

Fullcover may be what is known as "Round Robin" where you post several 2 team parlays of all combinations and maybe some 3 teamers as well. If you win enough of the games you can make good money, except with round robin you have to play the same amount on each parlay so depending on how many parleys you could also lose a lot of money if you don't hit very many of them.
Does your Fullcover have a single amount wagered or multiple amounts with multiple parlays?
Thanks for posting your plays here. GL!

#19 Posted: 8/20/2012 1:04:32 PM usually i pay 20 for 26 bets so the total is 520.. for a 5teamer you can get 2teamer, 3teamer and 4teamer combo.. you have an option to raise your bets for higher payout..

#20 Posted: 8/20/2012 1:07:30 PM Gonna help out a fellow member of the SoonerNation here angle.Concerning the -1 play. It's real simple math.Say for instance i like a -150 fave ( & Say the fave is +140 on the RL ) and don't want to lay that much juice..My wager is 75$ on the ML to pay 50$ and 50$ on the -1.5 RLto pay 70$ for a total wager of 125$ to pay 120$.The ML Pay-off will be what i risk on the RL.So,if the fave wins by 2+,both wagers pay off, if they win by 1,i split the plays and break even. This type of wager has been a favorite of mine and a profitable one over the years when i want to get away from the big juice. On a side note.I want to commend you on the good job you are doing keeping the McSHADY/SEMPER thread alive.I rarely post here on Cover's as i don't visit the message boards much. I use the website for the match-up pages mostly.I had however heard about their thread and was visiting it quite often looking to learn a little something about their methods as i thought it could be useful to me.I don't tail much...just kinda do my own thing and am always looking to get better.Anyways, keep up the good work and GOOD LUCK with your plays. |

#25 Posted: 8/20/2012 2:13:54 PM hey all is good with you guys keepin it rollin...hope you tailed me against that major Angels Sweep trend yesterday-local knowledge sometimes is best-they are really a screwed up team mentally right now and their pitching is all messed up...major pressure too-think Philly Eagles last year-I always play against "Dream Teams"...plus they were 1-8 vs TB-really like the way that team plays this time of year... |
