GOY 0-1---We are done with this one until 2012 GOM 0-0 GOW 4-0--This one has worked out well
LOS ANGELES +2.5 ( 5 units ) Game of the Month
From a Bookmakers perspective this line is accurate. Now from my point of view. I would of made the Sparks a small favorite here. My reasoning for this is the all important emotion angle. This angle is usually dismissed by the oddsmakers and rarely reflects in the line. For anyone that watched the end of Tuesday's game you know what I'm talking about. Parker is back and in more ways than one. She played a whole lot better than i had anticipated. 15 points 10 boards 3 assist all in over 25 minutes of play, but what she did at the end of the game probably sent the biggest message of the year to her team. The Spars are avenging a 35 point loss to the Fever three weeks ago. I LOVE IT. WE ALL SAW CONNECTICUT AVENGE A HUGE LOSS TO THE LYNX LAST NIGHT. The Sparks will be full of adrenaline when they take to the court on Thursday night. I'll gladly fade the Fever here. Covering B2B games as a road favorite is not an easy task in any league.
MIN / WASH UNDER 151 ( 1 unit ) Let's not forget about this play!!!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE----------LET'S SEE IF I CAN BEAT THE HYPE THIS TIME AROUND
NEVER GIVE UP

I think this line will be close to pick em by tomorrow. Getting points is always a good thing the Sparks win outright here.

#8 Posted: 8/17/2011 7:45:36 PM A couple of notes on the Sparks game.......
That loss @ Indiana was LAs 4th game in 6 days on the road and they played the night before.
According to Massey ratings the Sparks have had the # 1 toughest SOS while Indianas is 11th.

I think the Lynx win this game. It's just a matter of the cover. This has been a good team coming off a loss. They had a big lead in Chicago last week they covered the 1st half but failed to cover full game. In the game before Chicago they had lost at Phoenix. The same situation applies here. They are coming off the wrong side of a blowout against the Sum. I WAS ACTUALLY LEANING MIN 1ST HALF IN THIS GAME IF YOU CAN GET -4 OR LESS

They've been a good team coming off of just about any result. I guess you have to write something when you get questions like this

#13 Posted: 8/17/2011 10:48:40 PM I don't see them winning ML nor covering the spread. Playing the Sparks at Minnesota will be the play. GL though. |

#15 Posted: 8/17/2011 11:06:32 PM In my mind, this bet (Min -5.0) is nothing special. It's nothing compared to the gold mine that is the sparks tomorrow. In the long run, obviously.
And a pop quiz for our subscribers: Pinnacle Sports posts their full game lines the earliest in the undustry, and their halftime line the latest.
1) Why?
2) Which book posts 1H lines the earliest in the industry?
The quiz winner gets a free MuggsyBogues Play of the ThursDay, and a T-Shirt*

Yep you're right as usually! Minnesota -4.0 at -105. Reasonable, isn't it?

#25 Posted: 8/18/2011 8:19:31 AM Hey Dimes, I see you're having a great season in WNBA, but I was wondering if those winnings would be enough to cover your losses from NBA season, I remember you were about -50 units when you stopped posting NBA picks. What was your YTD NBA record after the Finals? |
