#1 Posted: 8/22/2012 5:07:38 PM I see 3 fights coming up this year (with lines that are open) , that I think are wrong, give me your thoughts please !
Struve (+210) vs Mocic, Belcher(+155) vs Belfort Silva(-105)vs Fitch
I understand Mocic is a golden glove boxer, but he has no gas tank, and Struve and looked fantastic in his last few, taking his time and sticking to the outside never letting opponents test his glass jaw.
I think Belcher is bigger stronger and more athletic, I think he can win this fight easy if he gets anywhere inside
Eric Silva vs Jon Fitch plays out simular to the Charlie B. fight a few cards ago, I don't see how Fitch wins
Just a normal guy who likes to line shop always looking for info! I think all 3 of these will lose value as time goes on, what do you guys think! |

#4 Posted: 8/23/2012 1:57:50 AM Gassing out in the latter rounds of your first fight in the UFC against a tough grinder does not necessarily mean he "has no gas tank". You don't become a NCAA DIV 1 wrestler by gassing out in your matches. I bet Miocic had an adrenaline dump in his first fight. Anyways I like your other picks.

Miocic does have the skill to put Struve out in round 1 though.

#10 Posted: 8/23/2012 4:43:05 AM Also! If you like Eric Silva, I would lock it in sooner than later, I think he'll be -160 or grosser by fight time, it's already when from -103 to -120 at pinny! |

Not looking good. Press conference in an hour for Dana to tell us something about UFC 151. /sigh I have Jones over Hendo to finish some parlays as well.

#16 Posted: 8/23/2012 1:09:19 PM Guys I think Hendo is actually out. Something big is going on anyways.
All of those rumours have been flying around, now Dana is holding a
press conference in an hour from now with an announcement regarding UFC
151.
and FrontRowBrian (has been first with some big stories before) just tweeted this:
"I'll fill in the blanks later but Dana's announcement will make history.
@KevinI was given story by UFC. He'll break it. Crazy story." |

#18 Posted: 8/23/2012 1:31:18 PM guaranteed the fight's off. If Dana wanted to squash the rumors, he would have tweeted "theres nothing to worry about" hours ago.
I'd say theres a small chance that Machida or Evans would step in to try to salvage the card |

#21 Posted: 9/1/2012 1:27:11 AM well Belcher/Belfort is a wipe, Struve is down to +200 at pinny, what do you guys think of this damein /rick story line, I think Rick Story is a huge tomato can, and if Maia has any brains left or accidentally uses his Ju-Jitsu he should win this one ez at -115

#22 Posted: 9/2/2012 9:42:28 PM I don't think story is a can at all. He has fought some if the best in the division
Big country vs carwin. The two best chins in The UFC. I like Nelson as a dog. Carwin has been very inactive. Nelson never takes fights to the ground but if it goes there I think he pulls off a sub. I like country's stand up better. I would say their gas tanks are both not great
Browne vs Bigfoot. I like Browne at the -225. Hell be way quicker
Cormier vs Mir. I have a Cormier texeira parlay already. Mir will be forced to stand and eventually Mir will catch a big shot and go down
Hendricks kampmann. Same as above. Kampmann forced to stand and eventually Hendrick catches him
Rua Gustafson. I love gust, but ruas tough to hurt. I think there's a chance rua wins even though he may take a beating in the process
JLau Maynard. I like JLau preliminarily
Cerrone pettis. Tough to call but will be a beauty. I think pettis opens as slight fav
Thoughts?

#24 Posted: 9/4/2012 2:44:51 AM Sawman I agree with most of that, but I think Shogun is in for an absolute beatdown. His head movement and gas tank just seem non-existent nowadays.. and that's not just based on the Vera fight, I think he's been in a steady decline. Gustafsson is on a tear, I love that guy, I think -205 is a steal.
Country vs Carwin will be interesting, Nelson is a live dog, I think we'll see 2 guys breathing heavy halfway through the fight, it hits the ground eventually and Nelson has enough in him to lock in a submission.
I think Bigfoot is live as well actually, if he gets through the first round..
How come you're thinking Lauzon? I was surprised at the -350 for Maynard but it's kinda making sense. I can't wait for Pettis/Cerrone, that had better go down, it's such a sweet matchup.

#25 Posted: 9/4/2012 9:30:12 AM I like jlau's full tool box better than Maynard's. But yr right, gray should be a heavy fav
Rua's in the twilight of career but I loOk at the trouble gust had finishing silva and rua may be tougher. Also right, rua has no foot movement. And he looks out of shape when he fights. It should b target practice but I can also see gust getting tired and catching a bomb
