#2 Posted: 5/15/2012 5:18:01 AM He is a hasbeen as a QB and a malcontant as a humanbeing, It should have been him and not junior seau that put a bullet in his own chest.
the eagles will fail again, you cant turn a running back into a qb, and vick is just a running back, the only way he can throw the ball is when he takes a 15 step drop, its the onlyway he can read defenses, I feel bad for a real QB like Cam Newton, always being compared to vick. |

#5 Posted: 5/25/2012 12:31:19 PM Michael vick when healthy can literally take over a game. No one can catch him and he's a great passer. Cam newton won some games in his first year with am easy schedule I'm not sold yet let's see how he does this year before we jump yo conclusions that he's one of the best ever |

#8 Posted: 5/27/2012 2:04:08 AM Vick sucks, guaranteed to miss at least 2 games a year, defenses know how to stop him now...

#9 Posted: 5/27/2012 4:24:17 AM Not last year. If you remember Eagles couldn't win games, Vick came back they exploded on offense
Amazes me, taking it all in....

#10 Posted: 5/27/2012 11:10:32 AM That said there are 2 issues with Vick: -Easily injured due to his slight frame and twisting style of running -He's going to get old real quick due to his reliance on speed. Need to be on the lookout for that

#11 Posted: 5/28/2012 5:49:58 PM Mike Vick will amaze again. I think Eagles represent the East in the Superbowl if those young linebackers pan out! |

#14 Posted: 5/28/2012 9:22:58 PM I honestly dissagree with Vick even being listed as a QB, In my opinion, he takes 20 step drops in order to read a defense, then he girl and complains about getting hit and not getting enough protection.
How the hell is he soppose to get protection when he is everwhere except the pocket.
He will continue to have good games during the regular season, because no defensive coordinator is gonna focus completely on stopping him unless they absolutley must have the win.
Come Playoff time, Vick cant do anything, because Defensive coordinators know how to stop him, and they will every year he is in the league until he can learn to deliver passes with 3 to 7 step MAX drop backs.
He still cant read defenses, I will repeat that to anyone who will or wont listen. |

On a regular, a rookie QB can show some great stuff as long as opponents are new to him. No on field experience, no professional footages, no stats. It's always the 2nd year that counts and he can survive it, then we got a legit QB. With that said, let's see how far Luck and Griffin III will go this year for their teams. Then see them again the following year.
Something tells me that Luck is a bust.......

#17 Posted: 5/29/2012 12:20:11 AM Yeah that's definitely the case and a good point. A rookie qb often looks good the 1st game, and the sub qb looks good too. That's because they haven't set up the d yet
Matthew Stafford was a bust Year 1, now look at him
Cam Newton, I'm telling you he's a great runner but his passes leave a lot to be desired. We'll see
What's interesting is if Luck or RGIII are busts, or get injured, where do they go to. Both teams basically mortgaged their franchises on these picks, trading legend Peyton Manning (Colts) and giving up a ton of high draft picks (Skins)
At least the Skins have a rookie qb in Cousins, but that just seems bizarre to me, to have 2 high draft pick qb rookies on the same team. I'm sure Cousins is none too pleased

Griffin III is a much better choice.
