Pujols is back and the Cards arent running away with the division like last year so their Sept games will most likely be meaningful.  Also Carps 1st half win total looks low because of his DL stint.  Cant believe Marquis is tied for the favorite at 7/1 along with Pedro, Carp and Capuano....I wish I could sell that...I would lay -700 that Marquis doesnt lead the NL in 2h wins.

Halladay is plain and simply awesome, and with a better offense than Minny I like him better than Johan or Liriano (who should come back to earth a little bit as teams face him more often...I think he is the real deal and will most likely win multiple Cy Youngs in his career, but I dont see 10-1 with a sub 2 ERA from him in the 2h....Halladay is capable of that and I believe he will win the AL Cy Young...especially since he probably would have last year if he didnt get hit by that line drive)  Also, I think Toronto hangs around enough to keep them in it in Sept, even if they most likely fall short of the playoffs....still, they will be playing their big guns down the stretch which is important for a bet like this.

i started looking at these too: heres some I like:

from Olympic and the result is based on total for the year.  Also bet is void if either player goes on the DL (is what it looks like)

Damon more runs scored than Rollins <-- Rollins is so God Aweful vs. lefties surely you'd tinker around with your lineup and move him down and put whoever else up top?

Giambi more RBI than Lee?   Giambi was pretty dominant after the A/S break last year, no reason why this shouldnt continue, any risk of him being injured and on the DL will void the bet!

same with Giambi > soriano for HR, he hit 22 after the break last year, and soriano who knows what will happen to him.

Turnbow > Todd jones for most saves.  Todd jones isnt very good wtf.  in the middle of a pennant race maybe you turn to someone else to close off games?  who knows, he hasnt blown alot of saves but still...

Thx guys...reach...didnt see your first post until well after you posted it.  Yeah...good thing you didnt take turnblow over jones.  I agree with the damon/rollins thoughts...and Im a phils fan.  Rollins isnt raking, and even when he gets on the Phils cant hit with people on...damon will score plenty of runs.  Not sure which Lee you meant but if it was D Lee..than that woulda been no action anyway.  Did you end up hitting any of those??

Anyway....CARP 3-0 in 3 starts since the break!!!

Halladay had a win blown by Ryan against the Yanks...looks like he will get one tonight.
