I wonder how much Belichick make tonight after giving that game away
Only a man who got money on the opposing team can make a stupid call like that
Belichick > > > > >
I really don´t remember another atrocious call in NFL history by any coach, but, called this one "The Right Call". You could be on the number one ranking on "the worst ever post in wagerline history".
This is worst than "The Dukes of Hazard" the movie. Not even so bad is good.

i've never seen anything like that in all my years watching the nfl.
he wasn't playing the percentages.
you're telling me its more likely for the pats to convert a 4th down play compared to pat's defense stopping manning on a 80 yard drive with 2 minutes left?

heres a perfect example, seattle was losing today with 5 minutes left in the game and they punted from their own 30. The pats were up 6 and they went for it. If anything seattle should have went for it
Bonehead play call

If it works, he looks like a genius
Since it didn't, he looks like a fool. And it didn't-so guess what? He's a fool.
I think this hurts their d in that the coach has zero confidence in their ability to stop a guy from going 70 yards. It's not like the Colts were scoring every time.
So in the end yeah, dumbass decision, but I'm glad to ca$h in on it

Another idiot. Yeah because INDY scored on every possession tonight didn't they? INDY would have the ball around their 20 yard line with less than 2 minutes and no time outs. The fact is they have to go the distance and they only went goal to goal once that game. So could they have won... sure but make them go the distance to beat you.

You are the one who said the situations were exactly the same.
I'm not even arguing the merits of the call. I personally think it was the wrong call, but I can see his reasoning ... BUT, to suggest it is even remotely like the situation in the Falcons game is ridiculous.

You PUNT the DAM BALL. MAKE him drive 70 plus yrds!
If you were on the COLTS 40 yrd line I could see going for it! NOT at your own 30. NO WAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Who the fuck cares what message he is sending to his defense? If they want to tear up about it then he can simply ask them why the fuck they were playing with their assholes while peyton ripped down the field in two minutes twice in the 4th quarter with ease... Hell they were even ONE DIMENSIONAL no running game and HE STILL DID IT.
Plain and simple he trusts Brady and his offense to get 2 yards more then he trusted his defense on this perticular night to stop peyton manning from driving the field to win the game (lets not forget peyton is one of if not THE BEST QB at doing this on a last minute drive to win a game).
Sorry everyone can have their own opinion but with a gun to my head and my life on the line I would trust Brady to get the 2 yards there (which if they could challenge that play or if he didn't bobble that ball they did easily have the first down)

thats the drama the NFL wants, big game hyped up all week and a fucking suspicious ending that looked rigged for a Indy win,Pats blow time outs so no challenge of play, going for it on an obvious punting situation.just too messed up
