Hilton has scary moment at Colts' OTA

INDIANAPOLIS -- Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton threw a scare in to the Indianapolis Colts during Wednesday's OTA practice when he dove for an overthrown pass and landed awkwardly.

Hilton, a third-year pro who caught 82 passes for 1,083 yards and five touchdowns last year, stayed on the ground for a few minutes before getting up and heading to the sidelines.

Hilton finished practice without any issues and said later that he was fine. In a recent interview, Hilton made it clear that he believes all workouts are important, even non-contact drills at an OTA.

"The competition is very high," he said. "I think that all phases of the team, especially the receivers and defensive backs, I think we're all competing at a high level.

"Right now, OTAs is all about the individual. Once you get to the season, when you get to 53 (on the regular-season roster), then it's about the team. But right now, we've got to compete against one another and just help each other out."
