Tulane is coming off a dramatic, four-overtime home win but is ready to quickly turn the page to its next challenge. The Green Wave will try to earn their first road victory Saturday when they visit Massachusetts, which put a scare into an SEC team last week.

The Green Wave looked like a competent offense for the first time against an FBS opponent last week after struggling to mold the option attack that first-year coach Willie Fritz brought over with more of a passing game. Glen Cuiellette emerged as the starter with his performance in overtime against Louisiana last week and will get the nod over Johnathan Brantley on Saturday. "We have a one-day celebration/pout rule, then you have to move on," Fritz told reporters of moving the season forward after the win. "Too often people dwell on the last game. You have to have time to move forward." The Minutemen had their offensive breakout against Mississippi State last week but could not match the effort on the defensive end and fell 47-35.

ABOUT TULANE (2-2): Cuiellette started the opener at Wake Forest but was unimpressive in the 7-3 loss, and Brantley was better running the option in a 66-21 win over Southern in Week 2 to earn himself a start in Week 3. It was Cuiellette's turn again last week, and he responded with four TD passes, including one in each of the first two overtimes, to earn the start in UMass. Terren Encalade recorded his first career 100-yard receiving game with 103 and three TDs last week - the first Tulane receiver with three TD catches since 2004.

ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS (1-3): The Minutemen totaled 35 points in their first three games and matched that against the Bulldogs as Andrew Ford passed for 273 yards and four touchdowns in his second start. The sophomore got the starting job after the team managed 14 points in two losses to begin the season and has kicked the offense into a different gear with seven TD passes in the last two weeks. The Minutemen are having trouble stopping the run - yielding an average of 172.5 yards on the ground - and are minus-three in turnover margin.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Tulane LB Nico Marley recorded his eighth career game with double-figure tackles with 11 last week.

2. Three of UMass WR Jalen Williams' five receptions are TD catches.

3. Green Wave DE Peter Woullard has recorded at least one sack and a fumble recovery in each of the last two games.

PREDICTION: Tulane 27, UMass 24
