Our best NHL player props for Wednesday, December 3
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Mark Scheifele Over 0.5 assists
Winnipeg Jets No. 1 center Mark Scheifele has recorded an assist in 10 of his past 18 games for 16 total during the stretch while logging a monster 20:07 of ice time, including 3:06 with the man advantage.
This also sets up as a favorable matchup with the Montreal Canadiens playing the second leg of a back-to-back set and reeling to the tune of an active 4-6-3 record while allowing a league-high 4.15 goals per game.

Prop #2: Beckett Sennecke Over 1.5 shots on goal
Anaheim Ducks rookie Beckett Sennecke is rolling along a 10-game heater with nine points, 21 shots, and 34 attempts while recording 2+ shots seven times. He’s skating in a top-six role and receiving consistent power-play time, and his 53.2 Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5 is the third-highest mark on the team during the stretch.
So, even with the Utah Mammoth allowing the fewest shots per game, I still like Sennecke to make it 2+ shots in eight of 11 tonight.

Prop #3: Logan Cooley Over 0.5 points
Utah center Logan Cooley has found the scoresheet in seven of his past 12 games for six goals and five helpers while receiving consistent offensive minutes. This isn’t a nightmare matchup, either.
The Ducks have surrendered a healthy 3.23 goals per game while allowing the second-most expected goals per 60 minutes at 5-on-5. Additionally, Anaheim No. 1 goalie Lukas Dostal is on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
