Our best NHL player props for Thursday, November 20

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Kirill Marchenko Over 2.5 shots on goal

-125 at BET99

This is the perfect spot for Kirill Marchenko’s shot volume to correct itself. He’s converted his 40 attempts into just 10 shots (25%) across the past six games and only recorded three or more once.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs allowing the fifth-most shots per game (31.1) and ranking 26th in Corsi For percentage at five-on-five this matchup should help the statistical correction to cash in.

Marchenko converted 54.3% of his attempts into shots for 51 total across the first 14 games of the year, after all.

Prop #2: Owen Tippett Over 2.5 shots on goal

+100 at BET99

Philadelphia Flyers winger Owne Tippett paces the Flyers in both shots (49) and attempts (90) this season, and he’s recorded three or more shots in consecutive games heading into tonight’s tilt against the St. Louis Blues

There’s nothing scary about a date with St. Louis, either. The Blues allow a middling 27.9 shots per game with a 21st-ranked Corsi For percentage at five-on-five.

Prop #3: Mikko Rantanen Over 2.5 shots on goal

-105 at BET99

Dallas Stars winger Mikko Rantanen has recorded three or more shots in five of his past eight games for 27 total on 47 attempts. The stretch includes consecutive two-shot showings the past two games despite piling up nine attempts, too. So, there’s been a touch of tough puck luck of late.

With the Vancouver Canucks allowing the sixth-most shots per game (31.0) and ranking 31st in Corsi For percentage at five-on-five, I’m anticipating Rantanen having ample opportunities to cash this Over.
