Our best NHL player props for Saturday, December 27
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Connor McDavid Over 1.5 points
Connor McDavid has been on absolute fire over the last month, and it’s clear he isn’t slowing down.
The Edmonton Oilers superstar has a whopping 31 points across his last 11 contests — an average of 2.81 points per game.
The three-time Hart Trophy already has 67 points this season, and he’s cashed the Over in points in four of his last five games. In fact, last time out, McDavid notched five points as he registered five assists.
That was against the Calgary Flames, and the Oilers face them again tonight. McDavid should keep this hot streak alive.

Prop #2: Tim Stutzle anytime goalscorer
Tim Stutzle is having another impressive campaign for the playoff-chasing Ottawa Senators. The German leads the team in goals with 18, and he’s also first on the Sens in points with 39. Stutzle has found the back of the net in three straight games.
The 23-year-old already has seven goals in December, and he’s done a lot of his damage on the road this season, scoring 10 goals away from the nation’s capital. Ottawa will visit the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening for the Battle of Ontario.
He also played well against them last season, scoring twice in three meetings. All signs point to Stutzle notching another goal.

Prop #3: Cale Makar Under 2.5 shots
It’s no secret that Cale Makar is possibly the best offensive-minded defenceman in the league. His statistics back it up — Makar has 43 points already, and we’re not even into 2026 yet. He’s never afraid to put pucks on net either, averaging 2.97 SOG.
However, I’m seeing more value in the Under tonight. He’s cashed the Under in five of his last six appearances, and he’s only had Over 2.5 shots three times in December. In most games, Makar has finished with either one or two.
The Colorado Avalanche clash with the Vegas Golden Knights tonight, and Makar had just two shots on net against them earlier this season.
