Our best NHL player props for Saturday, November 22
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Sidney Crosby Under 2.5 SOG
Sidney Crosby is still putting up solid numbers at 38 years of age. He has nine goals and 12 assists so far this season as the Pittsburgh Penguins eye a return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs next year. When it comes to creating opportunities on goal, Crosby is averaging 2.25 shots on target in 2025-26.
While Sid The Kid did register three shots on target in a 5-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Friday, he had cashed the Under in SOG in three straight games before that – all at home. The Pens host the Seattle Kraken this evening, and the veteran only posted three shots on net in two meetings with them last season.
Overall, Crosby hasn’t been as dangerous at home, averaging only 2.33 SOG.

Prop #2: Evgeni Malkin anytime goal
Evgeni Malkin is defying Father Time. The 39-year-old continues to produce alongside Crosby, posting five goals and 18 assists this season. While he’s serving as more of a playmaker than a scorer, he’s found the back of the net in two of his last three appearances.
The Russian superstar scored both of those goals at home, and the Penguins will host the Kraken this evening. The home atmosphere is always a benefit to a player as loved as Malkin, and he’s finding a rhythm in front of goal right now.
The odds may be steep, but this pick is worth a look.

Prop #3: Nico Hischier Over 2.5 SOG
Nico Hischier has posted 13 points in 20 games this season for the New Jersey Devils, scoring four times and tallying nine helpers. Overall, he’s averaging just 2.15 SOG per night, but the Switzerland native has been creating his fair share of opportunities lately.
Hischier has cashed the Over in shots on target in three straight, registering four shots on net in back-to-back games. That came against two solid opponents as well in the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Devils’ road trip continues tonight in the City of Brotherly Love against the Philadelphia Flyers, and he’s hit the Over in SOG all but one game since New Jersey has hit the road.
