We’ll hope for more of the same as we comb through a few Panthers vs. Oilers props and NHL picks for Game 3 in Florida.

Oilers vs Panthers player props for June 9

Evan Bouchard Under 2.5 shots (-120 at BET99)

Evan Bouchard has produced back-to-back 7+ shot performances to open the series, but there were a lot of factors working in his favor.

For one, the first two games featured overtime. That resulted in nearly 50 minutes of extra hockey, which equates to the majority of an additional full game. He rightfully saw tons of extra shifts, inflating his numbers.

Home ice also helped dramatically. The elite offensive defenseman has been much more productive in Edmonton throughout the playoffs. He's averaged 4.2 shots on 8.1 attempts per game in Edmonton, clearing his line at nearly a 60% clip.

His numbers on the road aren’t quite as rosy. Bouchard has averaged only 1.6 shots on 4.9 attempts, failing to record three shots in seven of nine games. Bouchard will spend more time in tougher matchups and, with any luck, also suffer from playing in only three periods of hockey.

Sam Reinhart Over 2.5 shots (-120 at BET99)

Sam Reinhart, like most top goal scorers, has a significantly better shot rate when playing on home ice.

He was noticeably more efficient generating shots in Florida during the regular season, and the gap has only widened during the playoffs. Reinhart has averaged 3.8 shots on goal per game, more than eight attempts, when the Panthers have home ice.

His numbers have dipped dramatically on the road, averaging 2.6 shots on 5.1 attempts while failing to clear this line more often than not.

Reinhart leads all Florida Panthers in shot attempts and scoring chances during this series. Back on home ice, where he is at his best, he is likely to be heavily involved in the offense.

Euto Luostarinen anytime goalscorer (+510 at BET99)

We’re going big game hunting with our last play. Euto Luostarinen has been shockingly productive during this postseason run, with Connor McDavid the only player in the league to record more 5-on-5 points.

Luostarinen has found the back of the net four times along the way, coming up with some huge goals for the Panthers. That’s not a coincidence.

He's been a high-danger chance machine playing alongside Anton Lundell and Brad Marchand on a dominant third line. He ranks fourth among all players in high-danger chances during this year’s playoffs.

He's showing no signs of slowing down, either. Luostarinen is leading the Panthers in HD chances, rebounds created, and expected goals through the first two games of this series.

Luostarinen is yet to be rewarded for his efforts, but at this price, there’s plenty of value in backing that to change.
