Moneyline pick

The Penguins have won 13 of their last 17 games to take over first place in a deep East Division. They've sizzled on both ends of the ice, averaging 4.06 goals per game over that span while Tristan Jarry has been lights-out in net.

The Pens are now third in the NHL in scoring with 3.39 goals per game and rank eighth on the powerplay despite struggling with the man-advantage for much of the season.

The Bruins, meanwhile, have lost back-to-back games but had reeled off six wins in a row prior to that. They're fourth in the East Division, four points ahead of the fifth-place Rangers with two games in hand.

Boston has been the league's best team in the face-off circle and has been stingy on defense, allowing just 2.47 goals per game.

The Bruins are a modest 16th in the league in scoring, though, averaging 2.81 goals per game and it's tough to back them as faves against a red-hot Penguins team — especially with how dominant the Pens have been at home this season, going 20-3-2 in Pittsburgh.

PREDICTION: Pittsburgh (-105)

Over/Under pick

It doesn't get any lower-scoring than the 1-0 game between these teams on Sunday. The Under has now cashed in six of the seven meetings between these squads this season.

The Bruins are 12-3-1 to the Under in their last 16 games and the Pens have cashed the Under in nine of their previous 12 contests.

Jarry, Pittsburgh's No. 1 netminder, is coming off a 30-save shutout and has played very well lately, going 9-2 with a 2.36 GAA and .917 save percentage over his last 11 games.

Even if the Penguins opt to go with backup Casey DeSmith tonight they should be in good hands, with their second-string goalie posting a 2.42 GAA in 19 games this season.

After getting the day off on Sunday, Tuukka Rask should be back between the pipes for Boston tonight. The 2014 Vezina Trophy winner is having another banner season, going 11-4-2 with a 2.36 GAA and a save percentage of .913. Expect another low-scoring contest and take the Under.

PREDICTION: Under 5.5 (-110)
