The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced a multi-year partnership with Hard Rock Bet, the official sports betting provider for Florida gamblers, the company confirmed in an announcement.

The deal will grant Hard Rock exclusive marketing and promotional opportunities with the reigning NFC South champions and two-time Super Bowl winners.

Key Takeaways

  • Hard Rock Bet will receive exclusive marketing and engagement opportunities
  • Game-attending customers can participate in Hard Rock events at Bucs Beach
  • Florida’s gaming exclusivity flows through the Seminole Tribe, who used Hard Rock Bet to offer betting odds

As part of the deal, Hard Rock Bet will be allowed to advertise its brand on digital signs inside Raymond James Stadium and will receive placements on the Buccaneers’ social media channels, among other benefits.

Hard Rock will provide its customers with “money can’t buy” engagement opportunities at the Bucs’ stadium and VIP access to other team events. They’ll also receive exclusive in-app experiences to win various prizes and opportunities.

“We’re always looking for ways to enhance the gameday experience and evolve with the needs of our fans,” said Buccaneers Chief Commercial Officer, Atul Khosla. “With sports betting becoming an increasingly exciting part of the entertainment landscape, Hard Rock Bet has quickly emerged as an essential gameday touchpoint for our fans.

“This partnership brings the best of both worlds - exclusive opportunities and unique in-game app experiences - giving fans more ways to engage, whether they’re watching from home or cheering from their seat at Raymond James Stadium.”

Gameday events

One of the planned engagement opportunities will feature a beach theme, taking after the pirate ship located behind the north end zone and the team name.

Hard Rock Bet will also host activation events at Bucs Beach, an area located on the South Plaza outside of the stadium, starting with the team’s home opener against the New York Jets in Week 3.

“This partnership will elevate the way fans connect with the Buccaneers and bring our players closer to the action through exclusive experiences and unparalleled access,” said Hard Rock Managing Director of Corporate Strategy, Nick Menas.

“We’re seeing the excitement around the team in the app – as the Buccaneers are among our most heavily bet teams – and are confident we’ll continue to see that level of engagement and enthusiasm throughout the partnership.”

Game-attending customers will also find Hard Rock Bet kiosks, where they can wager on their favorite team or any other NFL games.

Florida’s sports betting ecosystem

Hard Rock Bet is the only legal online sportsbook in Florida. The state maintains a compact that grants gaming exclusivity to the Seminole Tribe, who use the Hard Rock Bet app to offer betting odds to its audience.

All new Hard Rock Bet customers can take advantage of their sign-up bonus before the NFL kicks off in Week 1. Customers will receive $150 in bonus bets as soon as they wager $5 or more, regardless of the outcome of their bet.
