“I’ve done some weird stuff on set before, but spinning in circles for hours is near the top of the list. Luckily, that’s the spirit behind FanCash Spins on Fanatics Casino. It’s simple and rewarding,” said Patrick Schwarzenegger regarding filming.
The campaign expands the company’s “Explained By” series, which was initially used to promote Fanatics Sportsbook. The ad will run on multiple digital platforms, including podcasts and streaming video, and is another example of the recent trend of online casino brands linking up with celebrities to promote their games.
Fanatics Casino launched across four states with $2 million FanCash giveaway
In May, the Fanatics Casino brand expanded across four states, with launches on iOS and Android in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The company offered players a chance to share $2 million in FanCash to mark the launch. According to Fanatics Casino, customers entered by wagering $10 on their preferred casino games, with weekly draws awarding up to $250,000 and a top prize of $25,000 in FanCash.
The platform offers a full suite of casino games, including slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker, and live dealer games. Fanatics Casino says it has partnered with multiple game developers to produce its library, including Light & Wonder, IGT PlayDigital, Evolution, White Hat Studios, and Wazdan, alongside the in-house Fanatics Game Studios.
Fanatics Sportsbook announces Missouri partnership with Boyd Gaming
Meanwhile, Fanatics Sportsbook, the sportsbook side of the business, announced a multi-year partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation to enter Missouri’s sports betting market.
Through the agreement, Fanatics will operate mobile sports betting through Boyd Gaming’s license and existing retail sportsbooks at Ameristar Casino locations in the state.
The new sports betting sector regulations state that sportsbooks have to partner with either a professional sports team or a licensed casino. With 13 potential casino partners and six professional sports teams in the state, competition is expected to be intense, as the Missouri Gaming Commission has already issued two mobile betting licenses to DraftKings and CircaSports.
The new partnership brings Fanatics Sportsbook’s nationwide retail presence to 24 locations, including the only stadium-based sportsbook in the NFL at the Washington Commanders’ Northwest Stadium. Other operators, including BetMGM, FanDuel, and ESPN Bet, are also preparing to launch in Missouri when the new sports betting sector goes live on Dec. 1.
