As the NBA prepares for tip-off on its first season under a brand new 11-year, multi-billion-dollar television rights deal, fans watching Amazon’s new NBA on Prime program will find a slew of exciting features, including personalized bet tracking integration and odds views thanks to FanDuel.
The brand new opt-in feature will allow fans to link their Prime Video and FanDuel accounts, with any active NBA bets displayed and updated in real time on screen.

"Since Day 1, we've challenged ourselves to invent features that heighten, customize and add storytelling elements for fans within the live sports experience,” Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S., global sports and advertising, said in a release. “As we tip off this long-term relationship with the NBA, we’re excited to launch a best-in-class bet tracking experience with FanDuel, as well as a wide-ranging suite of broadcast innovations to enhance Prime Video’s comprehensive NBA offerings.”
The Prime broadcast will also add an “immersive Odds View experience” that will allow fans watching the game to view a cycling feed of live odds, popular bets, and other probabilities surrounding the game.
“As we’ve demonstrated through our coverage of Thursday Night Football and NASCAR, our innovation teams are continuously raising the bar and exploring what is possible within our produced coverage and add-on subscriptions,” Marine added.
Notably, the odds integration will be a read-only feature, as fans will continue to need to log on to their FanDuel accounts in order to place bets.
NBA on Prime part of enormous new media deal
Prime is just one part of the NBA's reported $76-billion media rights deal that also includes ESPN and NBC, the latter of which returns to the hardwood for the first time since 2002.
Meanwhile, for Amazon, its new features don’t stop at its Odds Integration efforts.
Among innovative efforts, the platform will integrate a number of proprietary AI-powered features, such as Key Moments, which clips the game's best moments in real time, as well as Rapid Recap, which curates a highlight reel for fans tuning in late. Amazon will also integrate its shopping services into the broadcast, as well as the ability to check player and team stats throughout the game.
In total, Prime will broadcast 67 regular-season contests in the first year of its NBA coverage deal, including NBA Cup knockout rounds, international games, play-in tournament games, and parts of the postseason.
