FanDuel is rolling out new product features and experiences for sportsbook customers ahead of the NFL season.
Key Takeaways
- FanDuel Rewards Club gives customers more control over how they earn and use rewards.
- BetProtect+ refunds or removes affected player prop wagers when a player leaves a game because of injury.
- New features will be added during the NFL season.
FanDuel and its users are at their busiest during the NFL season, which will begin with a Super Bowl rematch between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots on Sept. 9.
“Our customers look forward to football season, and this year we're giving them more control of their experience to make it the most rewarding season ever,” said Karol Corcoran, managing director, sportsbook at FanDuel.
FanDuel Rewards Club is a points-based monthly loyalty program that rewards customers with more control over how they earn boosts and bonuses while giving them more choice over available rewards.
Customers can unlock new levels as they wager, with each level offering additional benefits. Users will also receive daily promotions, custom weekly rewards, and challenges that will be marked complete every time a milestone is reached.
Players can also check out the latest FanDuel promo for details on ongoing offers separate from the rewards program.
BetProtect+ is also back following the feature’s success during the NBA playoffs and WNBA season. Customers can pay an additional 3% of their wager to add full-game injury protection to eligibile player props, preventing them from losing simply because a player went down hurt.
Protected straight bets that are affected will return cash refunds to customers, while parlay legs and their odds values will be removed without compromising the remaining legs.

More features to come
FanDuel also announced it has enhanced its “game intelligence” features.
Game intelligence essentially refers to the research provided in-app by FanDuel. For example, expanding a player profile will now show game logs and a breakdown of the player's recent performance. This will help users identify statistical trends before placing bets.
FanDuel also said fans should expect player prop trends, player favoriting, injury reports, and league rankings before the season is over.
AceAI, a conversational AI assistant, will also make its debut. This tool will help users assemble stats, peruse betting markets, and build their lineup all on the same page.
Several of these features are launching alongside the NFL season, but they will remain available after it concludes.
New FanDuel users can sign up with our FanDuel promo code to claim up to $350 in bonus bets.
FanDuel partners with NFL
FanDuel, along with DraftKings and Fanatics, will enter the 2026 NFL season as one of the league's three official online sportsbook partners.
The three operators reached multi-year commercial agreements with the NFL last week, allowing them to promote their brands during league games and events and access official league data through Genius Sports.
