The 2026 PLAYERS Championship is finally here, and the The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass will play host to the best of the best on the PGA Tour this week in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
While World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and defending champion Rory McIlroy are the betting favorites at the top of THE PLAYERS odds lists, I’m targeting three players further down the board to add to my PLAYERS Championship golf picks this week.
THE PLAYERS Championship sleeper picks
- Min Woo Lee (+4500 at BetMGM)
- Sepp Straka (+4500 at BetMGM)
- Adam Scott (+6600 at BetMGM)

THE PLAYERS Championship sleeper predictions
Sleeper pick to win: Min Woo Lee
+4500 at BetMGM
One of Min Woo Lee’s first breakout performances on the PGA Tour was his T6 at the 2023 PLAYERS, and he arrives at TPC Sawgrass in excellent form for this year’s edition.
Lee is riding a T2-T12-T6 streak with strong strokes gained across the board, including seventh in the field in tee-to-green play.
I also like that he ranks fourth in Par-5 scoring and ninth in adjusted scoring average.
Min Woo Lee tee times
- Round 1: 1:54 p.m. ET
- Round 2: 9:04 a.m. ET
Sleeper pick to win: Sepp Straka
+4500 at BetMGM
The four-time PGA Tour winner has gained strokes on approaches in six consecutive events, including each of his past three trips to TPC Sawgrass.
Sepp Straka ranked 10th and 15th in strokes gained tee-to-green at THE PLAYERS over the past two years, finishing T14 and T16.
He’s also posted two Top 5s and two more Top 20s in his last six events, and Straka currently ranks eighth in strokes gained tee-to-green and ninth in approaches in this field to start the 2026 season.
Sepp Straka tee times
- Round 1: 1:18 p.m. ET
- Round 2: 8:28 a.m. ET
Sleeper pick to win: Adam Scott
+6600 at BetMGM
While Adam Scott’s last win came all the way back in 2020, his game is clicking to start 2026.
Scott ranks 14th in adjusted scoring average, fifth in Par-5 scoring, and sits 11th in the field in strokes gained tee-to-green and 14th in approaches.
One of the 45-year-old Aussie’s 14 PGA Tour wins also came right here in 2004, making Scott a flier worth targeting at this price.
Adam Scott tee times
- Round 1: 1:06 p.m. ET
- Round 2: 8:16 a.m. ET
