over 152 Chi/SA I really like this play as the energy in the building for SA should be electric: only ESPN appearance this year, big stage to laud Becky Hammon and her pending retirement and SA should go off at some point after their short armed effort against Indy when they had zero rest coming off a game at Minn and Indy was playing exceptional defense. Chi should fare better offensively as they could not do any worse than what I saw at Tulsa where they went 3 min w/out scoring several times and near the end Pokey (worst coach in the league, even worse than Sweet Brown for LA) called 3 timeouts with the ball and came up empty all 3. Chi is no stranger this being their 6th ESPN game this season so should come out in rhythm and get their score on. This smells of a high scoring shoot em up to me. 82-78 SA

Minn TT over 83 I absolutely love the Lynx in this spot. Minn was in poor scheduling
spots facing Phx earlier this season coming off a long 4 game rd trip
that saw them criss cross the country to SA, Sea, LA then Atl before a
brief stop at home to catch a pissed off Phx squad on 2 days rest and
fresh off a rare last second loss to Conn, then Minn had to hit the rd
again and go back to LA and then Phx on a b2b all the while with various
injuries to star players, advantage Phx for those 2 games. Now we get
completely different circumstances and this is the clincher for me: all
the pressure is squarely on Phx. I like Phx and I think they are built
for a championship but for this game I don't think they are built for
adversity, Taurasi whines more than me for christ sakes and I think
they'll get slapped in the face big time. Minn players are all positive,
happy and loose. They just had their annual Catwalk for the Cure in
which they dress up and laugh and have fun together and more importantly
bond outside the court. Last time last year when they had the Catwalk
the next game they came out at home and destroyed a pretty good Sea team
97-74 and only took their foot off the pedal b/c they were up 22 going
into the 4th. Yes Sea is not Phx, but my point is Minn can and will put
the hammer down all night long and play free and loose against a team
with all the pressure on their shoulders on the road. Maya is playing at
an extremely high level and that will filter throughout the team. Phx
is going to find themselves down early in this game and we shall see how
they respond, either way Minn won't let up so I can see the TT and game
over coming in fairly quickly with 6 minutes left in the 4th and then
hopefully we get the trifecta with Minn pulling away at the end. Covers
get my green ink ready cause it's coming. 95-89 Minn
