Chronic pancreatitis flareup kept me in the hospital and out of commission the last few days so just watched and didn't research enough to keep posting. 53-45 on grass.
Some interesting matchups with a lot of value this week because most players aren't going ham right before the Grand Slam. I've already noticed a trend watching from my bed of a high amount of aces on the faster grass courts and players not going all out on returns, something to look at if the book offers the option. Superior players are also not always going to win in this situation because finding your form and experimenting a bit can be better than going hardcore and getting gassed by semis in a slam because you went all out on a 250 or 500 the week before. We saw a good example of that today with Eala clearly not being up to the level she should perform at and all bandaged up vs Mertens. She should have just retired but other players, especially those that have proved themselves, are just not going to put in the level they can and save themselves for Wimbledon.
Let's get a few more winners in before the slam next week!
