I know that many of you on here blow even larger amounts of money... well I can't afford to.. so fifty is alot right now.
I played 29 games of all different sports, and last $50 that long. I need to really start winning... call it compulsize perfectionist. When I do something I normally do it very well... I JUST CAN'T CAP!
I need advice... seriously, I need to beat this.

Vincer, I've been capping for a lot longer than I've been posting here and let me tell you, having worked in vegas, theyre right more than they're wrong.
I've let it beat me and just walked away.
Started capping again because its FUN to me.
When it ceases to be fun., take a break. You obviously enjoy sports or you would invest in mutual funds or something.
What I do when I hit a slump or my 'roll gets thin, I take a couple days or a week or two, watch my sportscenter, read covers, and play the wagerline games. Free spread capping games are as serious as you want them to be and costs nothing to lose.
Find your niche. This year I suck at totals. In all sports. I also suck at college football. So as soon as I realized where my strengths were, I channeled my efforts into those and believe me brother it pays.
One other thing, Go on covers matchup pages and look at line history. There are many things that move the lines but if your game has no late breaking news (injuries, coach firings, etc.), it is usually action on a particular side that moves the number. In this case remember, vegas probably had it right when the line first broke.
You and I are not professional handicappers. We do this for a hobby because its supposed to be FUN.

I love sports. It's a dream to be betting on them... seeing if you can break down the teams and see who would win. It's starting to become a drain now though... I can't hit anything... I am currently 8 - 18. Some wins, but mainly losses ... and the account is going down, not up.
I think a 2 week break, playing with fake money is a great chance... however, I would also love to tail someone on picks. Not just tail, but LEARN. By the jedi knight who is in training.... would love that opportunity.
When I start something, I do so because I want to be the best at everything. Being mediocre is killing me LOL.
Thanks for your advice, anything else you can add?

We get it dude, your good at stuff, you dont have to keep repeating yourself.
Maybe your problem is you look at stats too much. All of those stats are typically already factored into the spread. Look for motivational situations, reverse line moves are nice indicators but dont follow them blindly. You dont want to always fade the public but if you find most of your picks being public you might need to reassess. Check recent play and dont pay attention to old games those dont really mean very much. Gl.
