German Topscorer? Müller @ 4.25 (1/10)
Argentina to advance @ 1.75 (5/10) Under 0.5 goals (1H) @ 2.56 (1/10)
Still can't believe what happened yesterday, a night to remember. I don't think we'll see something similar tonight though I love Argentina to advance. Honestly, I can't share the love for the Dutch team and I'm very sure they go home tonight. Yes they have a great coach and Robben, which to me is the best player of the tournament so far - but that's it.
Whenever I watch them play and look at their style of play I see two things: 1) Long balls which are preferably picked up by Robben. 2) When someone has the ball (mostly Robben), NOBODY moves. It drove me crazy against Costa Rica, everyone standing around looking what the other guy would do and then a cross pass or a pass back to defense/goalie.
Now while Argentina hasn't played great they were able to somewhat convincingly knock out a Belgian team, which surely is stronger than the Dutch elftal. The Dutch strategy can work against some teams, but we saw in the games against Mexico and Costa Rica that there is only so much you can accomplish with it. If Argentina plays as clever as against Belgium, I see no chance for Oranje to advance.

If I was to count the Müller bet as a win, which I'm sure will happen, I'm finally back in the green. Now I have a dilemma: In order to stay in the green, Argentina has to win the final. I'm very sure though this will not happen, Germany is just too strong for them. Nevertheless I will not back them as it doesn't make sense to take odds of 1.70ish. In any case, I would end up with 4.10 units profit or with 3.50 units lost - but as happy as could be. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Brazil to finish 3rd @ 1.71 (3/10) Brazil ML @ 2.25 (2/10)
The Dutch don't give a crap about this game and while Brazil won't be overexcited to play here, I believe we will see the fans reuniting with the team to have a good ending to the World Cup. Kind of reminds me of the German team in 2006, lost in the semis and then beat Portugal 3-0 to claim third place. The fans that are in the stadium will not boo them out and the players surely want to make up for the devastating defeat. After van Gaal's comments about the necessity of such a game, I have no doubt that Brazil will emerge victorious.

Kaiser, Sounds like a very logical statement. I think I will wait to see the starting lineups before I commit. Third place games tend to be an opportunity go give bench players a run.
