anyways our kiddies in the finals for Coppa Serie C

so got the evening started wonderfully. hope it continues.

France Cup:

Dijon/PSG - kind of had this one circled. and kind of think its funny reading about how PSG doesnt take this Cup seriously. if thats the case?...... they why they make it to the Finals 5 straight years? anyways, Dijon gave me one of my 4-digit payouts in the sandwich spots back in November handing PSG a rare loss. not much analysis here, i guess one can say "payback", and PSG's yearly cakewalk through Ligue 1 probably forces them to seek out something to get motivated for; so thy melon thinking thats a pretty good one. oddly enough these two played in the Qtrs last year as well, PSG destroyed them 3-0 with 2/3 posession & without Neymar/Mbappe and half their team. havent even bothered to check the lineups, scr*w it. a rare play on a 1.5 juiced road favorite?

cazzo!, at least its near evens. on Sat, i'll be fading them again as everyone might get benched for that trip to Dortmund. PSG -1.5 @-110, PSG + over 3.5 @+143 for fun.

I am assuming you&#x27;ll have your thoughts on this later but I am really leaning towards Inter ML today. Crazy schedule coming up for Inter but Napoli doesn&#x27;t seem to fair well versus "top teams" in the A especially on the road. I just have no idea how motivated Inter is for this match with I am assuming a more important Serie A match in a couple of days versus Lazio since they&#x27;re fighting for top spot in Serie A  then a Europa League match mid-week next week but also part of me thinks they will come out and try to finish this early and rest for the 1st leg match so as not to worry in the 2nd leg.

Im glad Im watching this PSG 1st half. so close to the UCL KO's. a yearly reminder to provide me a "refresher" as to WHY i shouldnt toss some on them to win it all. they may be frightening up front, but that backline will get torn apart by anyone good enough to attack them and win posession.

similar thoughts. put in writeup also. this is the time of year where one not only should look at the opponent, but also the schedule. those prices on Inter in the 600s+ to win UEL look tasty/crazy. i mean, on paper, looking at their roster, theyre better than 90% of those clubs still left in that thing. but that schedule is brutal and dont listen to the medias BS, their goals are squarely on the Scudetto.

Coppa Semis (1st leg):

Naploi/Inter - well, Inter coming off a huge derby win last wknd coming back from 2 goals down; and as mentioned, was one of the better Serie A matches in quite some time in these parts. not to mention breaking a few tv ratings. Conte wasnt brought over to win the Coppa tho, not even the UCL/UEL; Scudetto, Scudetto, Scudetto. and with that trip to Rome(Lazio) on Sunday looming large makes backing them here really dicey. hes planning to rotate, at least he has the bench to ratate with now. opened near evens where on first glance looks like value. Napoli just took two steps back after that d*rn loss last wknd. knock out Lazio, 2 wins (including Juve), then lose to Lecce @home? puts that 4th CL slot out of range. their supporters arent even allowed to come for this one (tickets were banned to be sold to anyone living in their region due to the sh*t that happened back in '18) so one side of the argument is you can see Napoli going "all-out" for the Coppa and that 'backdoor' entry into europe next year. but that loss last wknd was bloody disturbing & Koub is still out. right away i jumped on the btts, a little juiced but cannot see Inter getting cleansheeted @home, and Napoli will be gunning for that 'away' goal, win/loss/draw doesnt matter to them. btts @-133

Celtic/Hearts - last 6 league meetings in Celtic Park the Bhoys have banged in 3+ in each which makes the prices on this worth the while. Celtic/Hearts over 3.5 @+120

Copa Lib: 2nd leg

Tucuman/Strongest - Bolivians lead 2-0, saw replay of part of first match and suprised there wasnt 5 goals in that one. but for this one, Bolivians going to park it and form a semi-circle around their GK; even might not be interested in crossing midfield. the fact that books dont have juice on the -1.5 makes me nervous. Bolivians dont even need ot win to advance, but still dont have the guts to back them on the road; they lost all 4 roadies last year in this thing by 2+ goals. so the heck with the -1.5s, going to take a shot with Tucuman to advance @+160. and lets toss some on the 'over' again. if Bolivians get a miracle goal, this is surely to hit. Tucuman/Strongest over 2.5 @-120

not in mood to pay juice on HC lines, especially in situations where the home sides might just protect advantages and just sit back and do nothing (like last night). small parlay Tucuman + Corinthians + Cerro @+140 for fun

Thanks for the write-up Spec! The only thing stoppping me from dropping a little more on Inter is the motivation factor. Saw the lineup and looks like Lukaku, Sensi and Lautauro all in to start with Eriksen off the bench. I think they&#x27;ll still take this one. Best of luck today!

Conte initially left Luk out. apparently decided to go with him after warmups. more importantly, Insigne didnt pass fitness. wasnt expecting that.

when Insigne is out, Napoli struggles. line is moving in a hurry too.

Inter &#xA;Conte&#x27;s intentions were there and thought we had a legitmate shot with Insigne out but the players seemed to have different ideas.&#xA;Wouldn&#x27;t worry too much about Lukaku&#x27;s rest after that match - probably rested as much on the pitch as he would have on the bench. Seemed like the players were content trying to get the goals on the road.

that wasnt the Inter i've been seeing most of the year. would have been nice to have been in the locker room pre-game when Conte addressed strategy as it was pretty obvious. Inter took forever to get up the field; elected to conserve energy with the wknds showdown in back of minds.

regarding Luk, buddies and I were just talking about him. I like the man. he came into the league in tip-top shape; but honest to god...... has he GAINED weight again?

how the heck you gain weight after a season starts? its usually the other way around. and when the defender takes one step forward Luk.......you gotta MOVE with him. they teach you that in the academies when youngster. he cant seem to get that through his head. theres a reason he leads Serie A in offsides this year. but i stop short of critiqing him any further, hes one of the reasons Waffles are #1 on the planet. period.

for the record.. technically... that isnt 'suicide'. many people have jumped off bridges and survived. not my problem if they elect to land on head.
