Some solid games today to peruse and they start in about an hour with Como who should absolutely smash Parma. Como are playing on another level right now and credit Cesc Fabregas for believing in a team and building a squad to create a culture of winning where it never existed. Moreover, they are almost unbeatable at home where they play tonight. Having just whipped Leipzig 4-1 mid-week in the Champions League, a let down could surely happen, but not against a lower team like Parma and, at least in my opinion, not with a coach like Cesc at the helm.
COMO FH -1 (+120) & COMO FG -1.5 (-155)...BIG PLAY!!!: Here is my thinking. Como come out and win the first half almost every time they play the game. But they haven't played a Serie A game at home of yet this season. So they will want to come out strong and give the fans a glimpse of how good they will be in the league, and I think their lineup with Nico Paz and Moise Kean starting up front can support that. The real victory is in the ML but that's at -175 and I'm not interested in dropping that if a letdown from mid-week does happen. Personally, I do NOT see Como not winning at the half and the fact they are playing a team that gives up goals, haven't won this year, and have lost their last three away games without even scoring a goal, gives me tremendous confidence here on both plays.
ROMA -1 (-110)...BIG PLAY!!!: This is a smasher. Roma lost mid-week and will want to avenge that right away against a Torino squad they have beaten in 14 of the last 19 Serie A H2Hs (D2, L3), the joint-most victories they have posted against an opponent in the competition since 2017, while they’ve also won on seven of their last nine away H2Hs (D1, L1). They have a top lineup starting and I do not see any way they dont' at worst end up victorious after the final whistle.
I have a couple other of the games I am looking at but I will wait for lineups as Udinese has been a pesky side vs. Inter and I'm not sure which Villareal team will show up today. I'm also looking at a play on the total in the Leeds/Newcastle game. But first things first...as always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
