Recap: My only two losses so far have been against the Lakers. Frustrating game to watch going against NBA’s new Cinderella team. Ratings have gone up tremendously for Lakers games. First game they got 46 free throws and Edwards ejected. Last night Powell pulled a hammy early in the game and didn’t let any one get physical with Luka while lakers were physical with everyone. Besides that Clippers looked horrible on offense especially without Powell. Not sure why they traded their whole bench for Bogdonovic who is struggling mightily. That’s it for the rant/excuses. Onto the next.

Write Up: Yesterday we had the battle of LA, today we have the battle of the Curry’s. We faded the Warriors last time and won outright and we’re fading them again tonight. Hornets are clearly semi tanking but Lamelo Ball is playing tonight. The hornets stink but they always compete at a high level - especially at home. they are actually one of the best in the league at covering the spread at home at a 64% clip. I’ve made money all season backing them as a home dog. There’s lots of money on NBAs 2nd Cinderella team (warriors) but Hornets will compete and should keep it close enough to cover a large spread. Recap: Sixers won outright!

Write Up: The battle of LA. The Lakers have won the last 2 games of this matchup (2 out 3 overall this season). I wanted to post this one early but Queen James and Princess Luka were questionable to play all day when we ALL knew they were suiting up. Because of this, the majority of the public got a chance to hammer Lakers with points or + odds on the money line. It's almost like the books were doing it intentionally?!??!

Anyway, I've been waiting for them to be ruled in to grab the Clippers at a better line. Lakers are missing two of their starters (Austin Reeves and Rui Hachi). Austin Reeves is their third best player and missing Rui can hurt a bit. The Clippers get back Norman Powell this game. With Powell, the Clippers are a different team offensively. Their offensive ratings increase by a whole 10 points.

Money has been pouring in on the Lakers all day and I'll gladly side with Vegas here.

Write Up: The warriors have been one of the hottest teams after they acquired Jimmy Butler in exchange for Andrew Wiggins + draft picks. Prior to the trade, the Warriors were actually struggling to win games - a .500 team at best in the west. Jimmy Butler just got ruled out so now the warriors are back to that same .500 team on paper PLUS no Wiggins in the lineup.

Now the Sixers are a hot mess and nobody wants to bet on them but if you want to do this long-term you must have a contrarian mindset. We took the Sixers last time as a POTD against the Knicks and cashed. We're backing them again at home with the points against one of the hottest teams in the nba right now. Embiid was horrible on defense this year and killed their chemistry -addition by subtraction. Its a nationally televised game and the Sixers should compete at a high level.
