An onside kick with more then 10 mins to go...might be the worst coaching decision in the history of the game...even the announcers knew it was coming...ECU is garbage

Lu, No concern that this line might be a bit low based on last week's upset? |

I can't give you a reason to take Mich. But I can tell you that ND's 3-4 defence will create a matchup problem for Michigan. Jackson will have a hard time beating 4 linebackers.

Sorry Guys, He made a point of bringing up Miss St earlier in the week and discussed fading them this week. That is the only reason I brought it up |

Here is my take on this game. I personally think if there is a game in this entire tourney that CUSE will get a scare this is the one. Butlers ability on the outside to hit shots should be a major concern. Not only that but they have a handful of guys that will limit turnovers when passing the ball around and through the zone. Im not really worried about the inside game of Butler in this one as there abilty to move the ball around without turning it over should wear down this zone and find holes for easy baskets. If they can get to the line often and early also could be a major factor in this one too. On the other Butler plays very disciplined defensively something that has put their name where it is these last several years. They dont try to overdue things. They are very simple and to the point. Something athletic teams do not like to play against. Look at UTEP for example they are big, athletic, and play with a lot of chaos such as CUSE but no where near the talent CUSE has but still a good example. We saw how smart and discipline basketball paid off. I also strongly believe that heading to Indianapolis is a huge motivation for Butler and has been since the start of the season. I think CUSE's hot play in the first 2 rounds is the worst thing that could have happened to them. I understand they have been there for awhile but traveling cross country after great offensive showing is only going to hurt this team. I think we see them very sluggish going against a team that has been a giant killer over the recent years. They know what to do so this is not a new role to this Bulldog group.
UNC, I look forward to your response at 9'30EST when Butler has officially lost by DD's....Mid major size and skill please....this team beat the University of Detroit in a last second thriller this year...Cuse is a long way from the Horizon league brother.....and Butler knows how to get it done? Since when...all they do is win the Horizon league year after year and then get it handed to them in mid March. |

You said it an 18-19 year old freshman PG turns it over...a senior PG doesn't especially one with the pose of Clemente....the statistics tell the tail. Pitt shot 39% and still had to chances to tie the game in the dying seconds....thats all I need to see. |

Sorry UNC this one has me worked up...I cringed on Saturday watching you play Wake Forest and people following suit on something that was so apparent... You gotta explain this one to me...How do you have Butler having a chance in this Syracuse game....You were all abord the UTEP train on Thursday...I'm guessing you figured size would beat speed? I was curious about the outcome myself...in the end I took Butler against a team who gave up their conference tournament title by blowing a DD leaf in the last 10 mins....then were off to round two...you took Murray St...so did I...great play...that games gets replayed 9 more times on the same stage under the same circumstances and Murray St hits a couple more of those wide open jump shots they bricked and with 7 of the 9 times. Now Butler plays against a Syracuse team with NBA talent(so we know they are going to consistently hit 48-50% of their jumpshots) and your thinking about betting against them. You played against them in two straight games against lesser teams and watched them look bad doing it... Have a look at the tournament teams Syracuse played from outside their conference this year...I think their avg winning margin was 12 against those teams...they beat Cornell by 15. |

But yes Cornell is in a very bad spot...but are better then that Wake Forest team....I'll argue that at the start of the tournament Wake and Texas were the two worst major conference schools in the tournament...had they not been playing each other they each would have lost by 20 in round one. |

This Butler game will not be close...people you are comparing Apples and brown Banana's here.....this game will not be close I promise you. Either will the Duke/Purdue game...... Even though I have Baylor in my final 4 they are a lazy lazy team who better bring it if they are going to beat a St. Mary's team who will show up to play the biggest game in their schools history. Momentum is on their side and they remind me a whole lot of the George Mason team that made the final four a few years ago..... Kentucky/Cornell will be an interesting matchup..personally I don't see Cornell within 15 points of them in the end...too much NBA talent wearing blue and white....take nothing from any regular season game..this group knew all along this is nothing more then a 5 game season before going pro...... Kansas St is also for real...too much depth too much experience...that Xavier/Pitt game was one of the worst played games I watched this season...clang clang clang and then Xavier hits a circus shot and its back to clang clang clang...I had Xavier in my sweet 16 but don't get sucker'd into thinking they can play with the 3rd best team left in this tournament. West Virgina/Washington....Beyond Baylor getting beat this is your best chance at an upset...5 points is way too much to give up for a team that stuggles to score 70 points on any given night against a team that can score 85 on just about anyone. Washington much like Kentucky knew that the Pac 10 was a joke and it was all about a 5 game season for them. They are much more talented then the lazy regular season efforts show...the only thing that stops them from covering or winning this game is where it is being played...WV knows the building and will be comfortable... |

Not giving a write-up as there is no point to try and convince anyone with the recent results I have had. These type of big plays do not happen very often for me but tonight it has presented itself. The season has been a ultimate embarrassment and I really am not enjoying this right now. A win tonight would give me a world of confidence back but if it loses I will pop back in once the tourney starts. Hopefully I can get this to 2-1 on these big plays for NCAA Hoops. I was tempted to play FL and LOU but going to stick with this one. Giving GTOWN 5 days to prepare is a big concern for me and I am just not thrilled with the Gators right now. Like Evansville also but like I said sticking to just one tonight. Really hope these past 4 games the Illini have played plays a huge factor tonight.
