Yes I know it’s early and I don’t wanna sound like one of those casuals but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a team watch so many first pitch strikes right down the middle. Holmes is consistently throwing meat right over the heart of the plate so far through the order and they haven’t picked up on it at all.

Loved the energy against Kentucky. If Townsend can stay out of foul trouble and they tighten up on D I think this can stay very very close if not win out right. I don’t see NC state shutting them down from deep like they did with tech.

Their play against top 25 teams this year doesn’t really give me much confidence, but I see this being a nail biter down to the wire and I’d much rather have the points than worry about  the Vols covering 7.
