Everyone's a "dummy" or "dumbass" and you're "doing people a favor" ...this is precisely the kind of dribble spouted from losers who are so wraught with their own internal frustration that they come to places like this with their aggressive cock-sure attitudes that are a mask hiding a ton of insecurity. These type of people lose...and lose...and lose. Not just in gambling, but in life (though I'm sure OP will come back to tell me how great life is). The type of people that have no empathy, no ability to put themselves in others shoes and say "How would I feel if someone spoke to me that way?" But no, everyone who doesn't agree is an IDIOT...or a DUMMY...or DUMBASS....but yet once again, we see who the real loser is. It's almost a guarantee if you come to these forums and see who all the cocksure fool are posting as their GUARANTEED winner then that's the fade you're looking for. It happens over, and over, and over again. Why people like you can't just come to a forum and see it as a community of others looking to have success in the same thing you are, and then "share" ideas, have interesting debates where if someone disagrees with you, you don't feel the need to call them a DUMBASS who should COME BACK AND APOLOGIZE. How about just come in and say hey guys, here's my take on the game...and here's why. Best of luck to everyone. But no, because of all the self hate or insecurity, or internal misery some of you (like this guy) have, you come in acting like your king person and everyone should bow to your wisdom. Now you're lighter in the pocket (if you even bet), made a mockery of yourself, showed your lack of intelligence, and not getting a lot of sympathy. Treat others like you would want to be treated. I assure you the most successful sports gamblers of all time (Billy Walters, Haralabos Voulgaris, etc) were never posting their picks on forums telling everyone what idiots they are if they don't listen....or any successful person in any endeavor. Always easy to spot the people to fade....and here goes another one.

I posted this in another forum as well, but would love some insight/advice
Was checking around to find a new book to open an account with. Contacted Sportsbetting.ag. Had a great (or so I thought) conversation with a guy there and asked every question I could think of. I also made it clear that I'm not interested in bonuses and that my biggest concern was finding a book that was reliable with payouts.
I made a deposit, more than doubled my money and called to take a withdrawal. I can't believe what I was told. First off, they DID give me a bonus and I just flushed it away on some random bet because I know you're never going to roll that thing over enough for it to be anything. Anyhow, they told me that because I accepted the bonus, I have to roll MY DEPOSIT over ten times. TEN! So, you make a $1,000 deposit, accept a bonus, then you will have to make $10,000 worth of bets in order to take out your own money! I've certainly heard of having to roll the bonus money over, but my own deposit? TEN times? Has anyone ever heard of this? What a joke. I kept saying you've got to be kidding me? Why on earth would anyone accept that deal? All they kept saying is "you should of read the rules, it's in the terms and conditions" and I was like isn't that something you should make absolutely clear to people ahead of time? The guy I spoke with before opening the account never told me this. I'm at a loss. I know a lot of these books are shady, but come on. Why would I deposit 5k or 10k in a book like this when you're wanting to jack my very first deposit with some bogus rollover rule. Any insight/suggestions helpful. Thank you |

One last thing, I called a couple of the books (Bovado and Sportsbet) and they wouldn't even hardly answer any questions unless I had an account. I understand that from certain standpoint, but how are you going to get my business if you won't even answer basic questions? So bizarre.

I've been calling around several books so that I can spread my money around. Currently I'm with 5Dimes and Bookmaker. No complaints about either currently.
However, (and I realize this is just part of what you have to deal with when dealing with offshore books) as I call around I'm shocked by the fees some places charge for taking a withdrawal, making a deposit, etc. In addition, sometimes the people answering the phones sound like uneducated, unfriendly people. Many time I can hear them talking to other people, or lots of people in the background. While I understand sometimes in a call center environment this is the case, it's really a turnoff. Also I hear lots of stories of these books not wanting to pay out....dragging their feet. So my question (and I realize it's probably been beat to death on this forum) is... if you had to recommend one book, what would it be? The book that fits this description (great customer service, fast payouts, minimal charges) most closely is? Yes I know there's probably some paid shills on here, and yes I know a lot of this is part of the deal, and yes I know it would be easier to live in Vegas, but again....I'm just looking for your opinions. I've called Top Bet, Sportsbet, Heritage, Bet365...either they don't take US customers, or the fees/customer service was horrendous. Your thoughts?
